    Awesome product that I have discovered thanks to you. Definately will pick one up and the kitchen 2:0 is great. A journalist friend of mine took pictures of gigantic window panels for a movie theater... imagine the dimention. Placed by suction cups. Industrial ones. Impressive. Yes it bites hard 😂❤❤❤ Love your videos.

    This is perfect even for those that do no overland. Example is like going to the beach 🏖️ and return to vehicle to rinse off the sand from feet 👣 or whatever.

    SeaSucker makes great stuff. My father has 2 on the back of his van and we attached them through a Plano box for more storage. Drove from Maine to Florida with it attached and loaded full with no issues.

    I would put on the sides but worry about putting on glass. I know seascuker works great but the actual glass not so much.

    Just make sure you keep window rolled up while sitting on it….. better braced on 4 sides vs 3 sides.

    Ok….I think you might’ve confirmed I can put Rotopax Gas tank on my Tacoma rear passenger window and the window won’t shatter from the weight 😉. I’ll see what Sea Sucker’s say this week though .

    What!? How did the window not blow out? Can I put this on the hardtop window of my JL?

    • @BaptismOverland
      @BaptismOverland  6 місяців тому

      Both SeaSucker and Waterport tested it specifically on jeeps without problem. Now I wouldn't personally sit on it like I did and I weigh twice what a full waterport would weigh. I also know of other people who run it on their window with no issues

    Although the SeaSucker system works great, I would not put any real weight on roll up windows due to potential damage to the window regulators.

    • @BaptismOverland
      @BaptismOverland  10 місяців тому

      Fair. On the Jeep I would put it in the very back windows that don't roll up. Same with the 4runner too.

  • @flyslinger2
    @flyslinger2 10 місяців тому

    The TRUE test would have been launching the Jeep off of a ramp at the end of a fishing pier. The impact would be the ultimate test.
    Don’t forget to take a couple rods and bait. Cold beers, lunch and suntan lotion may help.
    As always, great production!
    I have no doubt the unit works. But, the cost for 6 gallons of water? I recently bought 4 - 5 gal collapsible containers from Amazon for $55 bux.

    Your video is absolutely spot on, i was waiting someone brave to test it, on jeep JK and boom here it is, thank you so much for the video, i was more concerned about the window of the JK than the product as i am familiar with seasucker in extreme conditions here in the desert for years now and never had a failure ( check and service pumps very year👍 ) thanks again mate 🙏💪😎

    Asia, do you think this would work for mounting a 1 gallon propane tank? If so what mounting bracket would you recommend to match the bolt pattern on the Sea Sucker?

    • @BaptismOverland
      @BaptismOverland  10 місяців тому

      You'd have to find a way to get the mount on there. It MIGHT work for that as propane tank is USUALLY lighter than a waterport. But that's not a bad idea. Maybe they'll come up with one!

    Can you think of any reason it wouldn't be safe to mount a diesel heater to this ?

    • @BaptismOverland
      @BaptismOverland  10 місяців тому

      Well you'll have to figure out how to mount it and also I don't use diesel heaters so I'm not sure how heavy they are. I also don't know if I'd want something that has fuel in it that can possibly fall off if not mounted correctly. But hey, maybe SeaSucker might make one at some ooint

      It's not. If you look I put it in the back window. I just did the demo in the beginning because I didn't want to sit on it above my plastic fenders and if it falls I've broken my fender off haha

    I am using different seasucker products including bike racks. I trust these suction cups. No problem here. But ... Nobody is talking about a window. Can car window carry safely this kind of load?

    • @BaptismOverland
      @BaptismOverland  6 місяців тому

      For Waterport yes. They did an extensive amount of testing. Now I wouldn't suggest sitting on it like I did lol. But a waterport they (and waterport) assured us it wasn't a problem

  • @chrisridebike8
    @chrisridebike8 10 місяців тому

    Any concerns of theft since someone can just come by and release the suction cups? I like the idea but my side rack is bolted on and that gives me some security.

    • @BaptismOverland
      @BaptismOverland  10 місяців тому

      Def a concern. But my two cents: if a waterport is something you're going to keep on your vehicle all the time, then a permanent mount I feel is the way to go. Just like a permanent maxtrax mount etc. That's my setup.
      SeaSucker stuff I feel is more when you don't want to look like an overland rig every day and you just load up for trips.

    • @chrisridebike8
      @chrisridebike8 10 місяців тому

      @@BaptismOverland totally agree. We take ours off when we aren’t using it. We also use it to rinse off when we go to the beach and that would be where I see something like this being vulnerable. Still a cool product tho!

    Is there one for tailgate or tow hitch ?

    • @BaptismOverland
      @BaptismOverland  10 місяців тому +1

      Waterport has a tow hitch you can get. I don't like it though because it decreases departure angle and I don't want it scraping off a rock or getting under water during a water crossing. The SeaSucker can secure to vehicle side too if you have the flat space for it. One person in our crew uses the SeaSucker maxtrax mount on his tailgate
