In case your are not driving with German train (DB Bahn), yea. The local public transportation is in most cities nice. But the DB will be to late for sure😅

DB regio has a a 95% on time ratio. on my commute there is a train every half our and the city i live in (about 75.000 inhabitants) is going to get a stadtbahn like system soon now compare that to the us where there are almost no passenger trains and most of their passenger trains are neither reliable nor fast
