The stun gun is great if you plan of doing more then just sneaking around. Never go for body shots though, thats just dumb. I havent touched the tranq gun since i got the riot gun. The reason why is because If a mission goes sour and you still want to fulton people out, you can go full on commando and stun the shit out of everyone and fulton them out. Doing so with a tranq gun is less effective in those scenarios. Sure you lose the effectiveness of the enemy not going into alert mode, but the versatility you gain in more when conjunction with the reflex mode. I was literally able to take out 6 to 8 guys in reflex mode using the riot gun and head shots.
+eedobaba7726 You don't need to wait for the late game As soon as you get the weapons specialists side op(s) complete them immediately and you can attach a silencer to the anaesthetic sniper rifle you can create in your mid 20's R&D and Intel level. I got it at around mission 16

I like tranq gun for that very reason shown in the video but I can see why you would use the riot smg though I would recommend the riot assault rifle with the tranq pistol in case things go bad
What would be the best way for me to spam this at Drew and Dan in hopes that they see it, because I straight up stopped watching MGScanlon because of that garbage.

I guess you didn't do enough of the side ops early on. I actually neglected the story missions early on to do side ops
