This is a really good video. Years ago, the "outsourcing" concept dawned on me when I realized that I should be fixing up my own house instead of paying for cable so I could watch other people fix up their houses on HGTV. I cancelled my cable and started doing more home projects. I like how John carried that thought out to multiple other areas of our lives.

I work in the hotel part of a casino and i tried working in the casino part for a little bit and let me tell you it's the most soulless place I've ever seen. I thought it was odd that back in the early days of movies the characters were built around wealth while 90 percent watching the movie had little finances and really could not relate but it showed how the the one percent lives . Many follow this pattern today . I guess reality for many is not rewarding

His entire public existence is about instructing people to do and be this very "addiction". How do you contort what he's saying in such a way that you can say he "forgets to say" that he has this "addiction"? One of his mantras is to be "gazelle intense". You think he's not specifically instructing people to be addicted to responsible behavior and success? You might want to evaluate your own outlook on life and success.

If you read the comment I am responding to and thought: "Those sentences don't quite make sense." you are on to something. Here's why:
Addiction - 1. a compulsive, chronic, physiological or psychological need for a habit-forming substance, behavior, or activity having harmful physical, psychological, or social effects and typically causing well-defined symptoms (such as anxiety, irritability, tremors, or nausea) upon withdrawal or abstinence : the state of being addicted. 2. a strong inclination to do, use, or indulge in something repeatedly
The word addiction has a specific meaning beyond words like: habit, lust, love, lifestyle, religion, philisophy, passion, or goal.
The desire to become rich shipwrecks many peoples lives. The love of money causes great evil in the world. However, those who desire to live life with skill and impact their world will live below their means and avoid debt as much as possible. This channel is far from perfect, but is more helpful than most out there.

Never too late to get a divorce! Life is too short to let someone use you like that! You don't need a ball and chain! I refuse to waste my life away with someone who is wasting their life away and dragging me with them! NEVER AGAIN! That's why I am here to learn to improve my finances and have a better life for me!!

Why should she stage an intervention? Who's got time for that? He knows he has a problem he needs to get his own help! My experience is a person will only change if they want to! Most of the time they don't think they have a problem! Don't be a babysitter you can't fix stupid! She says he's an idiot! He's not her child or sibling or parent! Good luck and God bless!

This was unusually judgmental. I like watching movies, why did they have to throw shade at that? It's ok to have fun after working hard all day. I don't have to be productive all the time.

I disagree totally with all this. It could be a lot worse than watching tv or sports. You can do both. Golf is really fun to watch and to play on the same day. Especially while slamming 18 beers.
