Ray, You just discovered the first rule of Management "Hire a new guy to blame for anything you do wrong". Who is he going to complain to? Works every time!
Ray I think this was a great up sale , Because if the back 1s goes bad they would be a bear were if the front 1s goes bad very easy to replace, coils I mean. Especially with the high mileage
An argument might be to advise the customer to keep the replaced coils as spares for whenever the front's go bad : replace 3 and possibly save costs later 💡
As my daughter’s Highlander approaches 100k miles, I am watching this video and adding up in my head the cost of the tools I would need in order to do this job myself vs having my mechanic do it.

Of course it was the 10mm. I was replacing a side mirror on a truck several years ago, and the sound of my 10mm socket doing the Plinko all the way down inside the door will forever haunt my nightmares.
I was impressed that you used Denso coil packs. Using some less-expensive aftermarket coils can lead to failure due to the higher failure rates they exhibit. The rear coils have less air flow and experience higher levels of thermal failure. This also happens on air cooled engines. In my opinion, a used Denso coil would be a better choice than a no-name new coil.
He would have been much better off leaving the original coils on then replacing with cheap knockoffs. I mean really people aren't we beyond that level of stupidity?

Thanks for another Toyota 2GR video. I'm still hoping that you'll post a video of the Hybrid, 2GR-FXS, version before I attempt the job myself. I'm still not sure what to do about the EGR stuff at the back-left of the intake manifold. Also, I wish you'd remove the fill plugs before the drain plugs and explain the importance of doing so. You had a lot of trouble with the front, and if things had gone sideways, you'd be up a creek having already drained the fluid. As always, thanks for the great videos!
I thought the same thing. All new gaskets everywhere, should have had a new one there. Not worth the $4 for it to have to possibly chase down a vacuum leak.
9:36 those 3 bracket bolts a nightmare on the Sienna. Luckily for me when I replaced the 3 rear coil overs, densos, 1 failed so I got to do it again. I moved the failed one up front to make sure it was the coil and not wiring and yep, failure moved to that new cylinder. Found the last one in town and swapped it out in their parking lot. Cleared codes and remained code free the whole way home. Now I have to go back in and do the coolant passage down there.
