Lol, the driver Daniels, the Dan in danzio performance........ so he is the engineer that built this motor, wired the car, tuned the ECU, for this and tons of other racers..... and the chassis builder is racer engineering, and Daniel's was of course involved in the design of THIS car, as the other racer engineering cars aren't quite like this one.

Excellent work as always John. Fun battle. After my stunt I wanted to recover the spot and leaned on Jordan pretty aggressively but he was on the better line and he earned the position. I wanted to keep it clean and didn’t think wrecking him or myself was a professional move and it’s also why I didn’t smash his bumper when he came back in the line. At a short race like this I feel it’s ok to be aggressive and to push some bumpers on guys that may not know you’re there, but not ok to smash guys. To pass him at that point I’d have had to push him off the track or wreck him, and I think that’s chicken shit. He did an excellent job and I figured I’d look for an opportunity somewhere else on the track to come back at him but ended up breaking an axle on the third lap. Fun race and fun track. I always enjoy racing this race. 🤙🏼🤙🏼🚀

After experiencing the excitement of the sight a driver gets in one of these beasts, it's even harder for me to imagine how anyone can sit and watch a car race on a flat smooth circle, although without video like this clip the spectators do see more of the action when the real estate is so restricted. The most terrifying moments for me, if driving in this desert race, would be to have to speed through those sections in which you're blinded by the dust of those leading you. Tremendous courage must be needed for that.
You can't spectate at a race like this, it's like a road course, they fly by and that's just it, looking is done for the day. If you want to see real action go to a World of Outlaws race, print cars with 900hp and 1,200 pounds pulling wheelies on a quarter mile dirt track, there's nothing like it. I went to Laguna Seca way way back in the day, before big TVs to watch. You couldn't see jack, I camped out at the corkscrew. Indy is a crap track to attend, well in 69 it was anyway. I suppose huge screens have improved it for the spectators. This stuff is just plain crazy, I can't believe they are allowed to race within a few feet of high voltage transmission towers, and they are airborne most of the time. The vehicles are just beyond belief in that they hold up to the constant crashing. This is exciting as hell, but you're a long way from an ambulance when you need one.
Racing Videos with no music and pure engine sound are the best! 🔥I remember 10 or 11 years ago in "Los Gavilanes" race track in San Jose del Cabo, Baja Sur. I saw Mr. Daniel racing in C1 against the best driver (in that moment) of Baja Sur. He beat him but DAMN the race was so close. I saw the race on T.V. and was so impressive! I remember the words of my friends that they where there: "¡Verg*#&, el gringo que ganó en San José, que rápido es! Y que duro corre!" Translation: "The gringo that won in San Jose, he is so fast!" "He drives so tough!" Aaaah good memories. (Sorry if my English is not so good)
