  • Veto TP-XD Blackout! I’m really enjoying this bag with its modularity and customizability it is just fantastic. Time will tell if it can get me out of my TP-XXL but it is definitely turning that one into more and more of just a truck bag which is a great thing for my back I’m sure! The name of the game with this one for me is Down Sizing! I want multi function everything in this bag to keep it as light and simple as possible! Let me know if you have any more ideas that I could use to do that! #VetoProPac #Veto TP-XD #GermanTools

Want to see a comparison? Here is the TP-XD versus the TP-XXL and the TP-LC ua-cam.com/video/VGmwJOc6qNo/v-deo.html
Here’s the total weight too of the Loadout! 19.5 Lbs. Coming is 26.5 lbs lighter than my TP-XXL fully loaded

Nice ! I gotta admit , I’m in a bit of a quandary weight reduction wise , I have a pair of Knipex Lineman pliers , like yours only comfort grip ( which I prefer , I also have a pair of the Knipex forged stripper ( also comfort grip ) , third I have a pair of the Klein hybrid stripper/crimper/lineman pliers ( J2158CR gray boys . ATM , I schlep all three , to some extent , all have their good points , I would very much get it down to one !

@@MillisConstruction One thing I do different from you in re: PB “ first in drivers ; I carry the PB 65( might be 85{ wear on the paint label ) 10.R -30 . The short ( not stubby ) , version of your ratcheting driver . It plus it’s tether ride in my left front pocket on a lanyard . Attached to the Lanyard are 8 2” impact bits , a 2” bit chuck , + a 1/4 hex 2” extension , plus a 1/4” hex to 1/4” square adaptor . My compact belt holster , ( worn on my right hip , contains a 6” bit extension ) , plus a bunch of other small guys . Sorry to be confusing , but I find it a compact , capable , and secure set up . Another weight and bulk saver / backup : The Whia 26 in 1 driver , and 14 in 1 stubby driver ! The bits are double ended , and there are several available bit assortments ( Metric Hex , Torox , Security etc etc ) . I don’t use these for most everyday stuff , but they make one hell of a fallback option ! Another handy / dandy is a Klein Non contact voltage tester/ Laser Distance Measurer ( range in excess of 100’ ) , try an beat that for standout !

    A few bulk/ weight reduction tips :
Re: Hex Keys , Klein 70573 inch/ metric hex keys . Not as nice / capable as Wera , but 90% of the time it will do it .
    Re: “ Hammers “ , I carry Knipex 51 01 210 ( Carpenter’s Pincers , with a hammer face ) , add a piece scrap leather , to prevent scratching . I also carry Halder Supercraft 20 dead blow hammer .
Re: insulated drivers : Whia 6.0 283109 multibit magazine VDE drive , plus a 6.0 283101 stubby handle for the VDE slimline bits . Plus a terminal driver handle , for the Whia bits (part number has worn off ) . Pincers will out do a Claw hammer all day long , for nail pulling . Anything you can’t pull , you can set with. Nail set !

I use the same level on my TP6B, you can snip off alittle bit of the plastic or file it down that holds the level in place and then you can take it in and out without removing it off your bag

Do you a suggestion for screw drivers that have very visible and long lasting markings while looking down into the bags? Most of them wear away, and you end up having to pull the screwdriver out to see what tip you need.

Melt the pattern in the end of the handle and fill with contrasting pigmented epoxy or nail polish. Add dots to indicate size ex #2 Phillips gets '+' and two dots. Or color code the epoxy for an even easier ID.
