I agree with that theory, because you can see nowadays the use of that style of still and there are some historical registers. The prehispanic origin theory is difficult to prove it. But, some researches are still looking for more evidence, so, I think we might not discard all the possibles origins. At the end, I’d like to think that our mexican origin is mestizo, as the mezcal origin.

Didn’t the researcher from Universidad Yucatán indeed prove that mezcal’s origin can be traced from the Philippine Galleon trade?
