@Kristi Bergman, you and I have the same skin tone and I did just as you picking up Shade Golden Ivory.. I wasn’t impressed, but I gave it another chance when in a DIFFERENT shade, CLASSIC IVORY and holy wow! I’m obsessed with this foundation. The Maybelline fit me foundation when I tried that one I got the lightest shade and felt the same way about it. I’m not sure if the lightest shades do something to the formula, but GIVE THIS FOUNDATION ANOTHER TRY IN CLASSIC IVORY and I promise you won’t regret it.

Oh and one more thing, I used the elf hydro grip primer underneath and it worked fabulous with this foundation even with my skin that leans oily.

That foundation might be a perfect product to combine with other primers or luminizers.

Did it happen to oxidize later on that day?

I've watched reviews of this and it really does seem to wear differently on people. Some people end up greasy at the end of the day, others it dries them out. I am curious how well it wears for you. I wanted this for the full coverage but I'm thinking I'll get the believe beuty foundation for half the price.

Glad you mentioned the perfumy fragrance. I hate that in face products. Light scent is fine if it fades quickly.

I owned two shades and mixed them for my matched. I very like it and it wore beautifully on my face. I didn’t smell anything. I still have this foundation. I love cover girl foundation. But the only cons is the shade range. I have to buy 2 colors and mix them up for my shade. I have dry skin and I don’t powder over this and used separate concealer not for under eye especially older mature skin.
