Absolutely INCREDIBLE amount of detail! When I clicked on this, I thought, "That's a pretty sweet dollhouse kitchen." Little did I know it would have WORKING drawers and cabinetry! WELL DONE! Btw the cooler marble is actually a nice contrast to the warmer cabinets.
This is 2 years old but I just wanted to THANK YOU for such a great tutorial on how to do this without a printer. This is just amazing. May I ask what you use to cut your wood and the thickness of the wood you use for the drawers?
I’m so happy to hear that you enjoyed the video! I use an x-acto knife to cut my pieces. The trim is 1 mm thick and the rest of the drawer can be any thickness you like.
You did an amazing job and it seems it makes building cabinets for the dollhouse much easier using the method you used. I think I’ll try it. Thank you. PS. I don’t mind long videos with good content that gets right to the matter and that’s exactly what you did so thank you.
I'm a newbie hello everyone I absolutely love dollhouses at the moment I have a shop/house a kit you put together yourself them the rest is up to you. I got quite a way with it but lits more to do. The second is a large house handmade by someone else nothing is correct ie measurements for 1/12 like the doors too short etc that my next project and boy it's hard not as easy as some people think but in 2 yrs I've learnt so much. I also do lots of other crafts keeps me out of mischief hahaha xx
Hi, I'm just about to renovate the dh my Dad made me 60 ish years ago. That will be a modern design, and I love your videos. Thank you. I've also bought a second-hand dh, which I want to renovate in a victorian style. Wish me luck! If you haven't already posted a tutorial for the kitchen island, I would love that x
@gohawks3571 Hi, right now my friend and I are making shops to go through the village where my dolls house will be rebuilt. So far, a bakery with hand-made polymer clay cakes and bread. A market stall with polymer fruit and veg. Then, a 2 story dress shop with a dress making studio. I'm about to make the cafe tables and chairs for the bakery conservatory. We intend to form a full diorama around the village. Play area, pond, roads, etc. etc. Wish us luck. Thanks again for the inspiration and information
Beautiful job, and you explain everything so clearly, it has inspired me to tackle a project that has been sitting idle for too long. Thanks so much for sharing our talent. My project is a bathroom, but now I am thinking of doing some built in cabinets and sink. 🤔🤔🤔🤗
Wow... This is absolutely so neat and professional done. I have been watching literally 100s of videos on how to make the kitchen cuboards and this is absolutely the best and neatest done. Well done. I would really like to please follow a video on the island as well. Many thanks for sharing your incredible work. Love it.
Love this video! I enjoy every detail and information provided! I prefer to see long videos because are more interesting and well explained than the shorted Timelapse versions. Thanks for uploading this amazing video.
Wow thank you so much for this wonderful clear tutorial, this plan could be used so many other pieces of furniture. Defs be looking for more of your work. I have always wanted to start a dolls house, thanks to you I'm much more confident xx
Sei bravissima il tutorial più chiaro e bello che abbia visto finora . Potresti gentilmente mandarmi tutte le misure sono alle prime armi e virrei cimentarmi ma non riesco a capire di che misura potrei farli?❤❤❤❤
Really well detailed tutorial & fantastic outcome but even with my volume all the way up I could only barely hear your lovely voice. Your tutorials are always wonderful & your work exemplary.
Hi! I'm glad that you liked the video but I'm sorry to hear about the sound! Is it the same for all of my videos or just this one? Maybe you could dubble check that the volume dial on the video is all the way up?
@@Craftish the volume was all the way up.....I could hear but not very loud. No worries though, the video was great......looking forward to the next one.....your work is impeccable. 😊👍🏼
Hey there… you are a GEM! What a talented lady!!! My question to you is: how the heck do you set your pieces of wood to line up so precise? I’ve been making miniatures for over 30 years and I have never seen the exact fitting you obtain with every piece you put together… and corners meet so precise… right angles look perfect… please let me know what you use as far as tools and what types of wood. Thank you, Diane USA NJ
Hello, I am new to your channel. And this is EXACTLY what I have been searching for..... detailed instructions on creating miniatures. Your explanation, detailed measuring and step by step guidance for assembling was skillfully achieved. Please, don't shorten your instructional videos, when corners are cut for the sake of time mistakes are more likely to happen. Thank you for sharing your skill with us. BTW, I am now a subscriber 😊
Wow that is wonderful and the step by step tutorial is very clear and hopefully I will be able to create something similar. Thank you so much for taking the time to share your excellent skills.🙂
What an incredible tutorial! Do you mind sharing your method for cutting the panels that go into the face frame so perfectly? I tried tracing with pencil but its not accurate. Thanks so much!
Is there sizes to find out how to cut them? I’m really impressed by how you did this! I really want to make this but I need the exact sizes to cut. I’m about 1/3 of the way through the video! It’s so good!
Wow!! Love the results!! This was such a great explanation! I am nearly finished with a kitchen, but I lost a bit of motivation when it came to the oven and range hood details. Thanks for the help! I love how you created yours! Also I love the creative way you fashioned the faucet. 😍😍😍😍
I'm so happy that you liked it! I know the feeling! I left my range hood until the last possible moment because I wasn't really sure about how I wanted it to look. Hopefully this gave you a motivation boost! Good luck with your project!
This is so beautiful and precise! If I need a 1:6 scale, do I need to double the size of everything? I would love to be a Patreon member but just want to make sure I can do what I need for my daughter’s dollhouse with your instructions!
I really appreciate this long detailed video. Thanks so much! I was wondering how you manage to cut balsa so cleanly and square? I always end up with uneven and gaps. Do you use a craft knife or a small table saw?
I am new to this can I ask what timber your using and what tools did you use to cut the timber - sorry I am new and would love to do this for my dollhouse
Greetings Venezuela! I’m using balsa wood in this tutorial but you could also use chipboard or any other material that is sturdy enough! I’m so happy you liked the video! Have a great day!
I loved this video!! The more detailed the better, I say! I’m just now getting into miniatures, and want to do a kitchen and pantry in an 11”x11” shadowbox. I found your video and was thrilled with it because I want to do a wall with cupboards and drawers and a fridge, and probably a broom closet, if there’s space, I haven’t measured it out yet. What scale do you create in? How wide was this project?
sweet mama! looks very nice. i will build.
wish there was centimeter on screen or in description
