  • Exploring Mangalajodi Bird Sanctuary, the Birds Paradise of Asia | Wildlife Photography in India
Manglajodi is a remote village in the Khorda district of Odisha. The wetlands are an extension of the Chilika lake, the largest lake in India, and host migratory birds who fly from as far as Siberia and Mongolia to spend their winter at the lake. Odisha Tourism with the help of the locals has successfully converted this place into an ecotourism destination and a paradise for bird lovers.
This video is all about my Bird / Wildlife photography tour at Manglajodi, Odisha in Hindi. also, I have shared so many Bird Photography and Wildlife photography trips and tricks for beginners in Hindi.

Set your Nikon camera as follows:
ISO 100 (film speed) - keep it at its lowest for best results.
      White Balance - WB auto
Camera menu B1 (Custom shooting menu on rear camera LCD) - ISO sensitivity step value 1/3
Camera menu B2 - EV steps for exposure control 1/3
Camera menu C2 - Standby timer 6 seconds
Camera menu E1 - Flash sync speed 1/320
Camera menu E2 - Flash shutter speed, 30 seconds (this is very important to change)
Flash control for built-in flash - TTL
      Modeling flash - ON
Auto bracketing set - AE and flash
Bracketing order - MTR, under, over
Exposure metering (focus) - Matrix setting
JPEG setting - This affects image quality and JPEG size., I always Shoot in RAW...
Focus point setting - Single point AF-S Focus priority.
This allows you to focus on any area in the scene to get the sharpest shot possible, all by rotating the black square on the target focus point.
Use the main command dial to select the focus point. Select the different settings using the camera thumb wheel and hold the “focus -mode” selector switch. Tip: Ensure S is also selected using the front camera scroll wheel to confirm the setting.
Autofocus A1 (Camera back menu setting) - AF-C priority selection, focus
Autofocus A2 (Camera back menu setting) - AF-S priority selection, focus
      Single-point AF - Auto

    • @wildlifetrail
      @wildlifetrail  Рік тому

Exposure compensation has no role against a green background. Use exposure compensation when the background is too dark or the background is very bright. So that you get perfect exposure on your subject.

Mangalajodi is an olden village under Tangi Block in Khordha District of Odisha, 60 km away from Bhubaneswar towards Berhampur. There are two places for accommodation in the village of Mangalajodi provided by Godwit Eco Cottage & Mangalajodi Eco Tourism Resort. December to February is the best time to visit the place. It would be best if you stayed at least two days & 4 Boat safari ( 2 Mornings & 2 Evenings) for reasonably good photography.
