- Hey everyone! Sorry for be absent the past couple weeks. This week I wanted to just go over some footage I got trying to practice for interviews. I have limited experience with this so if you guys notice anything that could be improved please point it out!
I love the setup amazing to watch 🫡🫡
Whaaat this is amazing setup waaaw🫡🫡🫡
This is separate from the lighting, but you can desaturate the reds when you color grade. Remember people have blood inside of them so its easy to oversaturate the reds lol
I can relate to not having a lot of experience in setting up shots for interviews and earlier this year, I had to film an entire project like this and I learned a so much. you did a great job, dude! it looks amazing and I love the way you color grade
Thank you! Really appreciate it! Will be showing how I've been grading in a video soon.
really enjoyed this break down, awesome to show your rights and wrongs and in a very entertaining way. and btw these shots look so good even with the flaws you mentioned. definitely subscribed after this video
Thank you for the support!
For sure, I got so much value from hearing you talk through what was 'wrong' in the second setup. Even when you think you know, hearing and seeing your troubleshooting process is HIGH value.
Good lord, these shots look fantastic.

interior night time set goes crazy and the day time lighting set up you have on yourself bounces around the room so well!
Thanks for the support
I agree. How did you light the shot of you? The background isn’t blown out and we still see you clearly. What light did tou use?
@@AmariRebel used a Nanlite 720b with a light dome at 100%. Also used a 300d bouncing in the ceiling. Used ND to bring levels outside down.

Loved the video dude, as a learning filmmaker this was super helpful! Quick point, I'd recommend getting a pop filter for your microphone, just so your audio is a lot clearer! Much love!

Thank you!
What microphone do you use?
Zoom H1n
Just found your channel and subbed. You have a nice style, just fyi this mic/ audio set up is not working at all, its panning all over in headphones and popping on your p's, no consistency with distance to you mouth so volume goes up and down. Don't mean to be an ass just thought you should know, its really awful and hard to listen to.
Will be fixed next video! Thank you for the feedback
@@emmettdixon really enjoyed the video though. I was on headphones so maybe it stood out more. Looking forward to more videos ❤️
