We have a friend from Wellington who we really want to visit. It's funny, because Michael is from Chicago (AKA the Windy City) but we've alway gone back and forth because we've heard that Wellington is actually windier. Anyways, we're fellow food lovers, and would love to get to see (and taste) NZ someday. Nice job, just subscribed, and look forward to seeing more! 😊

Thanks for the great video. The dinner you had at the italian restaurant looked really tasty. And seeing that you are so exicted about flying on an internal flight and not even leaving the north island of NZ, makes me fully realise how lucky we have been in Europe in the last two years in comparison. Yes, many restrictions and complications, but still, I was able to travel to Italy, Greece, Turkey and Costa Rica in the same time as you where restricted to road trips from Auckland.
What did you think of Costa Rica?! We really want to explore Europe, but with Costa Rica being closer to our home-base in the USA, we've always wanted to visit together!
@@SharingtheRoad It depends on what you are looking for. Costa Rica is beautiful in terms of nature - volcanoes, rainforest, beaches, waterfalls, animals, birds, flowers, tropical fruits etc. Also, as it is quite small, its possible to do and see a lot without having to cover long distances. If you are into culture, history and museums however, its totally the wrong country to visit. Also in terms of food it is not very special. I loved my time in Costa Rica, but I will probably not return (but I will always return to most of the European countries I have been to).
Haha yes didn't realise how much we miss flying again! People have definitely been able to travel domestically and even to Australia but there was quite alot of uncertainty regarding border changes etc so we decided to wait a bit.

Honestly looking back it was a bit expensive but I guess we were on tourist mode so didn't notice at the time. But yes it was still delicious 😅

Cool and interesting video, always enjoy your keeping it real vids, but OMG, $24 bux for a pie!!!!, Does this pie have shavings of gold in amonst the mushrooms 🤔 I think our Auckland pies are cheaper, 👍👍
Thanks fam! Haha yeah pie defs was pretty expensive. It did come with the salad and mash and was a bit bigger but yeah pretty pricey gourmet pie 😅
Great review of places… but at that dinner place omg was that one lady SO loud in HWR OPIONS… totally not your fault or anything and could definitely hear your thoughts on the food. But you could definitely hear her stating her opinion about something in the background like alllll the time. She clearly hard some stuff to discuss.
