I used play in the Ibrox True Blues Accordian Band in the mid 70's. We used to play in the 'wee' Rangers Club before games. Although there are some great flute bands it's the accordian that gets my vote everytime. At that time I lived in Calside, Paisley & used to parade from the Brodie Park at 7am on a Saturday morning to the Orange Halls in Castle St. before parading to the train station at Gilmour St (giving it laldy under the bridge on the way!) Great memories. You guys sound fantastic
in my dat breas of glennifer and ibrox true blues glad to see paisley dist no 6 can still do us proud. at least 30 yrs since there keep it goin and happy 11th night.
Stick yer Republic up your arse. You will never take ulster ya yellow bastard. Ulstermen went to France to stop you talking German today. Your mates watched ulstermen and Irishmen leave ireland to fight for freedom.
Can't be there sadly due to other commitments .Hope you all enjoy it.Love to see people having a great time being proud of their heritage and standing up for it in these stupid times of political correctness.Good Luck Pal.
As my Dad says just follow the P.R.W until it becomes Glasgow Road then your in Paisley it's a straight road. My Dad was born in Paisley High Street in flats that where once above The Paisley Centre when he meet my Mum he told her he was born on the road to Ibrox he sead to her well it's a straight road when she sead I thought you where born in Paisley he sead yes just along the road from Ibrox. The Halls are in The West end in Castle Street at the end of the road. I live in Hamilton South Lanarkshire Scotland bow but originally from Elderslie just down the road from Paisley.
Not sure if they have a webpage mate. I really couldn't tell you if or where they'll be playing on the 12th. I'd hazard a guess at Belfast, but then again, I couldn't be sure.
Fair play mate, aye, you're right. If only there were more of you up here aswell!! What with a Labour government and a continual drive towards political correctness, we're becoming a nation who loves to forget what we're all about, but still welcomes all other kinds of nationalities and heritages. Disgraceful!
if u want 2 see even more mate, there's a massive loyalist parade to commemorate the 300th anniversary of the Union. It's on Sat 24th March in Edinburgh. 15,000 Orangemen are expected. It should be a fantastic occasion.
i really like how the young ones are so involved, jimmy shand was the man for the accordian but these guys are really doing his memory proud with their smooth transition from one song to another. too many people don't appreciate its sound and by the looks of things the crowd loved it. can anyone tell me where i can hear this or even see it again?

I would agree that "F the Pope" is uncalled for and I must add that it is an "add on" to the song being played. I must also add that not everyone in the hall shouted/sang it.
My dad march in Belfast 96 years ago. He wore the sash. He come from Liverpool. His family were loyalists.
