50:50 look at those sun pics and timelapses in Ha, some of the best out there. Congrats!
Hello to all the members of the channel of astronomical images.
My name is José María Arnillas, I have my little observatory at the back of my house in Santoña, Cantabria, Spain.
I follow your UA-cam channel closely and the truth is that I am impressed with what you show.
From this place so far from yours, I would ask you to activate the subtitles when publishing your videos, in this way I configure the automatic translation into Spanish. Since my knowledge in your language is very limited.
I would like to apologize for my way of expressing myself, since I use the Google translator to be able to contact you.
To finish, I just want to thank you for all the knowledge and experience that you have, that you are disseminating to the entire community of astronomy fans in a selfless way.
Greetings and clear skies to all.
Hi AstroDueso -- thanks for the suggestion!
Fortunately, all of our broadcasts have auto-generated captions -- you can access them by clicking the CC button. You can even have Google auto-translate by clicking the Settings gear on the video, going to Subtitles, select Auto-translate, and select your language. They're not available live at this time, but post-broadcast, they become available.
They take several hours after the live stream to appear -- so they're not available on this video at the time of this comment, but should be probably by the end of today, maybe tomorrow.
Please accept my apologies for my late reply.
Thank you and glad that you enjoyed the UA-cam and I really appreciate the kind workds.
I'm glad to share and I hope it gets others interested in astronomy, building and of course solar astronomy.
My very best wishes,
Detlef
How many mirrors does it take before you stop calling it a refractor and start calling it a reflector? 🤣
The only magnification element in this design is the refracting lens -- all of the mirrors are flat mirrors and don't contribute to magnification. In a reflector, the mirror(s) are used for magnification.
I don't know for sure. Let me reflect on it for a while and get back to you.
