- today i look on Instagram at a few car videos where the owners fail miserably. theses car can be rice buckets or even performance machines.do not do any of these things shown below and i do not own any of these clips in my video. ricer car fails make me laugh all the time lol.

Hell no it’s true my stock cat just broke so I had to put in a rv6 catted one and its way to loud I just have a regular resonator but the only way I can run it without the crazy drone and rasp is putting a ultra quiet resonator, so I got it welded and put the stock one back on for now, but them Hondas are just all straight piped and sound like a 4 banger fighting for its life

Back in the early 2000s turbo whistles where just called whistle pipes. In the bay area big rimmed cars called scrapers would have whistle pipes. They added to the comical nature of a m&ms painted supercharged v6 buick on 30 inch rims. They where higher quality and just made a humming noise. sounded futuristic like the sound electric cars make today. For they type of builds they were the whistle was actually kinda cool at the time

Actually the way the exhaust exits will change the sound. Especially say you have a 3 inch single tip, after a 2.5 inch cat back. It will sound more raspy and sometimes pulsed if you go from that 2.5 inch cat back to a 2inch Y exhaust tip. That 2.5 inch exhaust pulse is broken in half and squeezed into a smaller opening. You can hear this breaking of exhaust pulses and that's where the rasp comes in. Good rasp, the monstrous sounding rasp
However this only applys to a high flowing exhaust system, with a strong pulse coming through. On a car with long tube headers, and straight pipe all the way back, maybe a resonator or two, you will hear a difference with exhaust tips

Dude the one where they try showing that exhaust tips change sound is wild because I’ve argued with sooo many people here on UA-cam in exhaust videos that think tips change sound. People that don’t know any better will ask about tips changing sound and I’ll truthfully tell them it does not whatsoever and there’s people that comment telling me I’m wrong and stupid and that they DO change the sound😂 like bruh it’s what’s under the car. You can waste money on the best exhaust tips if you want but if you’re going for sound it’s not gonna do shit😂 frustrating how many people believe it does anything. I can see maybe it super slightly maybe changing it if you get the huge ones but even then it’s not much.

That Honda gave me PTSD from 2004-5. Kid would run around with a 1.5 SOHC eg hatch. Had a Tanabe Gold medallion (if I remember correctly). 2am he would go passed my house at 7k. Woke my wife and I for a week. I had to kindly ask him to stop after meeting him at Autozone.

I didn't hear it for a while. Ended up moving about 2 weeks after that.
