even if he pushed in the clutch and it revved to the moon. it probably has a rev limiter that won't let it blow up. Usually the only time a rev limiter allows a motor to blow up is when you money shift the car and the rev-limiter can do fuck all to stop your engine from going to 14,000rpms due to something like that lol.
I saw the red Mustang “leaving” the meet and everything, he was banned from the meet, but the crazy thing is that he got his license a week before that happened
As a v6 Camaro owner I can confirm, 200 horses can break traction. But oh my LANTA ya'll v6 stang people cannot stop crashing. It's not that hard to control my boys.

I was in a similar situation to the last one where the throttle got stuck. I was doing pulls a Mexican highway and my throttle got stuck at WOT while in 2nd gear. All I did was calmly turn the ignition off, pushed the clutch in and threw it in neutral, from there I put the key back in the “ON” position just to make sure my steering wheel doesn’t lock and coasted to the side of the highway. Getting back was tricky cuz my throttle cable peeled inside of the sheath so I had to pull out the cable and I tied some copper wire to the cable and tied it to the gas pedal. When I would accelerate and the engine would torque against the mounts it would cause the throttle to open a bit more so it was a bitch to drive home 😂
My Jeep's pedal got stuck once, throttle cable frayed and wedged itself. Second I hit the rev limiter I dumped the clutch, killed the engine and coasted to a stop.
You push in clutch, come to a stop, and then shut off the car. Otherwise you lose power/ electric steering, abs and can't pump the brakes when your brake booster runs out of vacuum on the first press. Can't forget the steering wheel might lock too
The ecoboost clip with the brown 370z at the intro was at my local cars and coffee. I left right before that. Dude was driving his gf’s “mustang” and couldn’t handle it. Possibly got us shut down over it too because nobody would look at his gf’s stock ecoshit🤦🏻♂️

As a motorcyclist they teach you that if panic your hands are going to clamp down hard. Thats why they say hover the clutch with your hand. With the drift car wrecking, I can't say I could react better because I've never been in that situation BUT when I drive a manual car when I need to hard brake I slam on both the clutch pedal and the brakes... So I have faith I might've pushed in the clutch if I was in this situation. Rip that drift car.

I had my throttle get stuck in my SRT-4 on the autobahn after a pull. It was bouncing off the limiter and shooting flames out of the exhaust. I put the clutch in and turned the ignition key to acc mode shutting the engine down. Turns out my throttle body or intercooler piping clamp made it stick by hitting the cable assembly. I fixed it and all was good.

Turn off the ignition. In high school in my friend's 280Z, throttle stuck wide open at 140. Calmy turned off ignition. Yes, it was the floor mat. Opted to not slam into a tree, pole, or retaining wall to stop the car. Straight road. You can still stop, turn, and brake even without the engine running.
I had an '89 thunderchicken and lost a c-ring holding the throttle cable to the throttle and went WOT. It took me the whole of .25 seconds to throw in in neutral and hit the brakes. I was in five o'clock traffic. Made it home and to the dealer the next morning.
I actually had this happen while highway driving. My first car... a real bucket. After market cruze control stuck the pedal at 80%..I clutched out turned off the motor and coasted to a stop..even had time to turn the key to acc so the stearing wheel didnt lock.
Im so glad I left early that day, Red Mustang wrecked at C&C 🤦🏻♂️ it had rained and people were sliding a bit from clips I’ve seen just bc they were trying to send it
A car I had once got its throttle stuck as cable operated whilst I was revving at a meet (many years ago). I dipped the clutch in to crawl away, parked in a side street and killed the ignition whilst revving at 7k rpm. Was able to get another cable replaced and no damage done. As I had been driving slowly I was OK I think if a throttle locks at speed it makes you panic. But still no excuse for doing it in the first place
last clip: All about the "N" neutral..last spinn out. I did that with a Ford Pinto..😝 7# Red Mustang v6: All Mustang are top heavy. So when going on next gear the high torque engine kicks in the wheel will start slipping. Spouses to let go gas peddle once feel slipping.
I'll watch drag racing although I was never into doing it myself but, when I road raced my motorcycle on the track in the 80's I did still need to learn how to do good launches to get into turn 1 ahead of as many riders as possible. My bike redlined at 11500 back then so I held it between 9-10k and clipped the clutch just enough to keep the front wheel barely off the ground. We didn't have all the electronics back then. Looks like he did just dumped the clutch at lower rpm almost stalling and then slipped it to get it revved back up and dumped it again.
I think the reason there are less V8s fucking around is because they are more expensive. Higher entry price generally means older, wealthier, more mature owners. Just my observations as a service writer at a Ford dealer

So something similar happened to me in my Beetle like with that S Chassis: My throttle cable got stuck after I shifted into 4th gear, straight WOT. First thing I did though, since I was on the highway, is yank it into neutral and shut off the motor. And yes it did rev the piss outta the motor but I didn't freak out and slam on the brakes. And guess what? I still drive around that Beetle to this day. Now I know everyone acts differently in panic situations but HOLY SHIT dude didn't have to choose the "JESUS TAKE THE WHEEL" option
That s13 hurt, it sounded good, looked decent he was in an open empty parking lot learning his car probably freaked out and by the time he tried to react it was too late. You live and you learn tough luck to be fair
11:31 that or turn the key to the off position… that usually makes the car shut off altogether….
My throttle got stuck once I managed to get in home
Brilliant!! Throwin up the 'carwin awards'...😂
10:10 I love when you do that shit is so hilarious 😭😂😂😂
That bike stalled on launch. It's like he started it back up in first while gassing it?
As someone who owns a fox body mustang with less than 300 hp, its still stupid easy to spin out.
