    It is so sad not only that the genocide happened, but that so few political leaders have the moral compass that Gen. Dallaire has. That so few military leaders have such a compass and that selfishness is overcoming compassion and justice in our civiiization.

      +livardo yes he went crazy really. Could barely live after his experience. Able to come to grips somehow but still, even with medicine, has horrible nightmares, terrible PTSD, and yet still goes on, trying to help the child soldiers. A moral, righteous man.A true hero. "Shake Hands With the Devil" is an amazing book.
