    Absolutely love watching your lathe do it's stuff I just bought a 12x36 gunsmith lathe to convert to a cnc, and your machine is my reference. Do you recommend going with the scales in conjunction with Acorn for accuracy 😊

      This depends on what tolerance you need to turn. With scales it is easy to make a series of parts within 0,01mm on a hobby lathe like mine.

    Great video Uwe ! Can you explain how tu setup your second tool une cnc12 ?

      for left tools choose the nose vector for its cutting direction in the tool setup. If the tool probe is only working in -Z and X direction, set X auto and then align the tool tip to the front face of the tool probe and set Z manually (F10)

    Those VCGT inserts break chip very well, is this 6061 ?
