- This week we are making over this beautiful hope chest. This piece was in great condition and needed a new look. We gave it just that using @Dixie Belle Paint Company products and some love! Lots of fun techniques coming together to create this finish. I hope you guys enjoy the video!

So brave and bold to go with this color on such a magnificent piece. I know I would have struggled with a color choice and probably would have chickened out and gone with something more neutral in order to sell it. It turned out so beautiful. I love it! Using mud puddle or a brown paint to mute a paint color is one of the best tip I’ve learned from you. I remember you added to a pink on your vanity so I tried and loved it. Makes a pink or purple more sophisticated I think😊

Lovd this! I am currently working on a credenza and wanted to age it. Learned a lesson, stain does not work on chalk paint the same way it does latex! I have washed my wood tops before but never thought to do over painted surface! Thank you so much. Ps didn't know DB had grey wax. I may need to make trip to town 😉

Hi Kacha..love each and every video.Love the way you transform every piece.I have a request.Could you please make a video(I know you have a crazy schedule) on how to distress a metal furniture.Would like to know which paint is perfect for metal.Chalk paint/Oil paint etc.How can we give texture to the metal.Does it need a primer.Can we protect it with wax for long term.Thank you.
