Your videos are genius! I have family soft and light hair and I am always looking for ways to add volume and a more of a fuller effect especially in ponytails. LOVE your videos!!
Kayley, can You pleeease make a video about how to make the curls last? I have hair very similar to yours, but mine go nearly totally straight after 20min from curling. I hold each curl for cooling down in my hand, I spray them with super strong hairspray, sometimes I clip all the curls to my head for even half an hour when i'm doing my makeup and when I loose them they look just perfect but after half an hour they're straight again. It's driving me crazy. Please help. :D
Omg I have the same problem too! I'll braid my hair while its damp and fall asleep like that, but in the morning after I take my hair out (and use hair spray), the curls will be gone or almost gone after an hour or two.
Hey! You should try adding a hard hold volumizing mousse to your daily regimen. While your hair is damp add a huge dollup of mousse from root to tip and then flip your head upsidedown and blow dry it till it is 100% dry. That will provide LOTS of hold to any curls you add after :)
***** I had this problem, but i always pin mine up, and the older ive got and the more i curl my hair, the longer it lasts, i also think the quality of the tool you use helps, my hair will only curl with a wand and wont with a tong or a straightener so maybe try some different ways and see if that helps? x
I absolutely LOVE the whole wrap a piece of hair around two ponytails idea! I've always wanted to try the double ponytail trick but I was always afraid it would show, but now you have solved that! Thanks soo much Kayley! :)
MandiLynn98 I used to be afraid to try the two ponytails with a piece wrapped too, but I did and I love it! She made it so easy to follow and beautiful results!
I love you so much Kayley! And this was so great, the hairstyles look like they've taken a lot of time to do but they're actually incredibly simple! Thank you and happy Valentine's Day :) xxx from Finland!
I basically just found your channel😅😂😂but I love the way you explain your processes compared to other channels I have seen. I'm so exited to try lots of these styles!!!
I love the second one. I keep doing the double ponytail things because my hair is still pretty short, and it makes it look longer. But I can never hide the ponytail underneath.
O my gosh so creative as always. I especially loved the bombshell waves sooooo gorgeous . and did anyone notice how sexy she looked while doing the bombshell waves? She is soooooo pretty
i love you! you are the most prettiest girl alive to me and i love your hair its so pretty healthy shiny and smooth and your videos are amazing you should at least have 1 million and more love you
I have that exact curling wand set and I've been looking for hairstyles to do with it. I'll definitely try this one! And I thought it was pronounced "tousled" like the sound in "towel." Have I been saying it wrong my whole life?!? Thanks Kayley!
These are all great styles, buy naturally my hair has a lot of small, tight curls that have minds of their own. If I were to try any of your looser, effortless curling methods, I'd end up with a mess of bigger curls with a lot of awkward kinks in them, unless I spent an hour blow drying it all straight first. Do you have any advice on how to fix that? Do you think maybe sometime you could do a tutorial on somebody with naturally curly hair?
Hey Kayley. I want to know hiw to get the waves that you are using in the ponytail. I eant to know how to do that with a small curling barrel or even with a straightener ;). Thank you so much, btw your tutorial is amazing and fantastic!! ;)
Hi Kayley, really big fan, I was wondering if can recommend lipstick colors for different skin tones, I am between fair skin and beige, and can't seem to find the right color for me, I have tried a lot of colors.
Kayley, how do you prevent your hair from getting fried? I see you using a good amount of heat but you're hair always looks soft and shiny. I only use heat sometimes and I always use heat protectant, but my hair is fried! Help a girl out??
Well, I typically just use heat about 3 times a week and rock the 2nd day curls on the days between. I think one of the biggest thing I do is to moisturize my hair like crazy. I am all about the deep conditioners and leave in conditioners. I also make sure that the shampoos I'm using don't leave my scalp or hair dry, because obviously that counteracts the moisturizing that I do :).
I love the bombshell curls look, but whenever I try to do that, my hair ends up looking frizzy after I shake it out. It doesn't look tousled and piece-y like yours. I do exactly what you did in the tutorial here. Any tips? My hair type is straight, thick, and I have a lot of it.
Love all your videos, Kayley!! Can't wait to do my hair for date day with the fiance... probably just getting cupcakes and hanging out at the beach ;) xx
Lovely as usual! Sorry if you have answered this before - could you tell what heat temp you usually use - or rather what you would recommend for fine - but difficult to curl hair (that is in good condition) - if you have time - I would appreciate it :)
I know I'm not who you were expecting to answer. But, I have the same issue and find that the nume wand holds really well in my hair. Also, a little bit of mousse before you curl helps.
Can you do a video about tips for people with thin hair? I'm a bollywood dancer and we have to do our hair in very stylish and voluminous hair, But my hair is so thin after styling it, it just falls out! Are their any tips you can give me? about anything? :) Jessi xx
Hi, Kayley! Thanks for the new video! Can you recommend a dry shampoo that does not contain aerosol? I'm looking for hair powders that have fewer chemicals, and maybe last longer than spray cans. I don't mean last longer during the day, but that I can hold on to for more than a month. I find that I go through those spray cans faster than I go through bottles of shampoo, and I'm starting to wonder if there isn't a more economical way of keeping my second and third day hair clean. Do you have any thoughts? Thanks!
Try the Lush one, it's called No Drought. It's a loose powder and it doesn't come in a spray bottle, therefore it's not aerosol. I've had mine for six months now and I bought the smaller version, plus I use it a lot!
I agree with Nicolle Kimberly . I've not tried that specific product, but that kind of loose powder is your best bet. There are a few brands out there that do dry shampoos as loose powders. Baby powder is also an option, though I'm not sure if you're choosing to avoid talc or not. :)
Nicolle Kimberly and Kayley Melissa Thanks so much for the advice! I'll definitely buy the No Drought and give that a try, sounds great. I avoid talc on my face, but I have no objections to it on my head. I'll give the baby powder a shot, too. I was worried I'd come out looking like I was wearing one of those powdered white wigs from the 1700s, but I'm ready to try anything you recommend! Thanks much!
Roscia1 If you have darker hair, add some cocoa and/or cinnamon to the baby powder. Just a little bit, it makes the powder darker and less noticeable. But of course if you use baby powder on its own and let it sit for a few minutes (make up or drink some coffee) the powder will absorb the oil. Then shake the roots with your fingers again, I like to do it sometimes upside down, and the excess powder is gone you cant barely see white there. :))
Kameko Abbie I actually have very red hair. I noticed some dry shampoos come in brunette and blonde colors. I feel very unrepresented by the dry shampoo industry! I will experiment with some of my kitchen spices and see how much I end up smelling like a cake :) Love trying new things! Thanks
I don't know what's the problem with my hair. I can hold the curling iron in my hair as long as I want, but i won't take the curl. When I take the iron out, my hair is still straight. Even on the highest temperature. My hair is straight, heavy and very thick. Do you have any tips? When I try overnight no-heat curls, my hair falls back into it's original form in an hour. :(
Haha thank you! I'm not going to lie, I edited this whole video wondering what was different about me and it took until I was almost done to realize I looked different because of my part. Changing a part does crazy things! ;D
Pleasr i need help :) My hair is super curly (like african people curly) and the only way to brush it is to do it in the shower. I have been doing that for years and my hair have always been fine. But recently it has been falling like crazy and my hair went from super heavy to reallyyyy thin and I'm scared. Please help with anything
I love the last one. I'm going to the theatre with my girlfriends on Valentine's Day, and this hairstyle will be perfect!
you are so beautiful! i love how easy these tutorials are
Thank you! I do my best to make them easy to follow :D
I am amazed by the ponytail trick! Your ponytail looks so thick and luscious.
Your videos are genius! I have family soft and light hair and I am always looking for ways to add volume and a more of a fuller effect especially in ponytails. LOVE your videos!!

Loved this! Do you have relatively thick hair, or is it more on the thin side?
I have fine hair but average to a lot of it :)
