- Here are 3 prom and wedding hairstyles you can do yourself!
Sometimes when it comes to formal events getting your hair done isn't an option, or you'd just rather do it yourself! This braided hair style tutorial is perfect for that. You've got a side braid (perfect for one shoulder dresses), a half updo, and a braided updo. I think all of these are easy enough for beginners and they'd work for prom, bridesmaid, bridal, or just wedding guests looking for a great hairstyle. Just make sure to practice before the big day!

I was watching this, yesterday, and at the middle of the night, I decided that I couldn't sleep without trying theses hairstyles. And the makeup, but that failed... I did the first one for prom and loved the way it looked!!! I just pulled it into a side ponytail while dancing and it was still so pretty and loved it!!!
gorgeous as usual! I'd love for you to show some braided updos specifically for thick hair, maybe with a model with that kind of hair. I find it somewhat difficult to try to adapt your hairstyles becausd my hair is so much thicker than yourself.
I did the first hairstyle for my wedding last year, 9 days after this video was posted, so the inspiration came just in time! I am so pleased with how my hair looks in all the photos from that day. It's a year and a half late, but I wanted to say thank you!

Whenever I try to recreate these hairstyles something always goes wrong! Either my hair is way too long or way too thick so the bobby pins fall off or I'll need to use a 1000 of them.
on the 1st one you can just use a clear rubber band :)
she suggested in one of her videos that if you have long or thick hair, roller pins might work better than regular bobby pins. also, metagrip pins (sally's beauty carries them) are about a hundred times better than the ones you can get at the drugstore.

I did the second style for prom almost four years ago now. It was super beautiful, even on my solid color hair - and it was really easy too!
