2:20 the CARLTON. SO fitting, lol. Love that you did this song, back when it was out I was going through a similar situation the song talks about, special place in my heart for this one. finally learning it today!
This flashback Friday seriously brought back memories. I remember seeing this band at warped tour a few years back. thanks for the nostalgia and a tutorial time would be great too. keep up the great work!
haha @mikerisms it kills me every time you play these awesome mid 2000 songs. I'm sure our winamps were exactly the same.....Still waiting on a Horse the Band cover.......maybe old Scary Kids Scaring Kids?
I don’t know what you’re talking about, dude lol this was a great album and Cities was a masterpiece! New Surrender wasn’t bad at all but their Dark is the Way album was when they started to become ok at best.
I agree - ten months later - but Cities is their most complete, cohesive, and best produced album. I think the “singles” are stronger on previous albums - To me they’re kinda like Taking Back Sunday in a way - early albums were great and had OUTSTANDING “singles” but the songwriting, production, musicianship, solid singles - everything came together for “Louder Now” and “Cities” in a way that sets the album - as a whole - on another level. Gosh, I miss the aughts! Great music
2020 and still...... 👏👏👏
Jamming hard! Nice playing!
i sooo love this sooooong!!! :)

Mike please listen to idle hands by in n angles and consider doing a cover. Great song from a great band j know your like
Some bass covers would be so sic especially for the dgd stuff
Have you ever thought of adding solos or extra twiddly bits? I'm more than sure you could add a killer one to this song.
Cities is their best album. From a tonal perspective anyways. Nate young’s drums PUMP on that album
Nate really makes the band his drums on the song they have called 'Self Starter' is amazing, so many good fills.

Gosh, I miss the aughts! Great music
I mean saying Anberlin went downhill beginning with Cities should be a criminal offence but otherwise a good video
Nice cover but New Surrender, Dark Is The Way, Light Is The Place & Vital are so much better musically than NTFP.
Your not even playing anything
