    That's a great method..
however if we need to quantify the cladding, it won't be efficient. Hopefully I am wrong ?
I guess we can use the matrix array to achieve the same result but with quantifying in mind..
or for a more advanced technique we can use the param-o or grasshopper..
    just sharing my thoughts!

Thanks for your thoughts and yes many of my models here on this channel are with 3D visualisation in mind and not the quantifications! Matrix array would work of course but is not as flexible if you like to change the divisions quickly for a different look. Grasshoppers I find too user unfriendly, like it is very powerful but if you don't use it at least on a weekly bases it is hard to keep the skills up with it.

@@ASMTechbase I am the one who loves to thank you for your amazing content and great tutorials.
And ofc Grasshopper isn't the most straightforward method.. it is tricky and needs patience with a lot of testing time.
Thank you again.. and I'm proud to be one of your followers!

Ah… I’m trying to figure out how to model T&G Timber V-Joint Wall panelling for my INTERNAL walls 😬 ✏️
I have made some beams and copied them at 90mm ctrs across my CLG SIPS Panel that has a V-Joint option on the ceiling side. I then did a SEO on it and it looks great but I dunno, gotta be a better way, especially for wall 🤷‍♂️

Hey Laurence, what you did is pretty good, the only thing you could try to use is the curtain wall or handrail tool. I have not tried this myself just an idea I came up with. Good luck and let me know if that would be a solution.

How did you make your Archicad 21 interface to appear like the older versions? I'd like to do this...
ION, thanks a lot for the lesson, I have definitely learnt a lot!!!

amazing video my friend. keep it up.
i have a question for you. i have tried archicad 20 and it seems that you cannot really do a lot directly on the 3d like in previews versions. Did they reduced the freedom on changing things on 3d directly (move - extend- drag etc)?

HI PanKon, no it's still all there ( using the right mouse button ) So if it is not working for you , you might have to re install AC 20. First of course restart your computer, that could fix it too. If it still not working contact your local AC re seller.

thanks for the reply. i'm not sure what you mean by right mouse button. i do it the same way i used to do it since archicad 12 onwards. So you assume they have not changed anything it is just my archicad's fault maybe. thanks a lot mate
