      There are some library parts under doors - sliding folding doors

    3:12 Why I can’t check all after I choose fill …

    • @ASMTechbase
      @ASMTechbase  6 років тому +1

      hard to say without seeing what you exactly do. Usually if you have the fill tool selected and you do a select all and it is not selecting any fills, then you might have the marquee tool still drawn on screen which NOT includes any fills.
      Or the step explode walls did not work and then you don't have any fills only walls. Usually it's best to redo the tutorial around the time where a step might be missed.

      thanks, yes ARCHICAD model capability great if you know how to use it. It is always important to think out of the box too when modeling, Like use as example use the wall tool not just for walls, etc.

      thanks ! I think there are some GRAPHISOFT tutorials on how to add a door in a curtain wall. I will have a look tomorrow if I can find some.

    Great work.... it's possible to work in curtain wall ?

    • @ASMTechbase
      @ASMTechbase  4 роки тому

      Unfortunately not as the curtain wall is not very good with curves.

    Hi ASM, thank you for your videos, just discovered you and subscribed. Very useful. Is there a way to make this with a curtain wall instead? Perhaps now with AC23 or 24? That would make it easier for modifications of sizes, changing panel types, etc. during design.

    • @ASMTechbase
      @ASMTechbase  4 роки тому

      Hey Claudio, thanks for watching. Yes that would be much easier but at the moment we can't, not sure if AC 24 will improve this. We will have to wait and see !

    • @ASMTechbase
      @ASMTechbase  6 років тому

    Hi this is amazing. I am looking to make a model of a glass bourbon barrel. Think you can do that for me? :) I am too new at this.

    • @ASMTechbase
      @ASMTechbase  6 років тому +1

      Hi Eddie, thanks . First,never ask anybody to do stuff for you, otherwise you won't learn how to do it yourself. Second, a glass barrel is better modeled in Rhino or Max as example because of nurbs / meshes etc. options. ARCHICAD is for Architectural models/buildings.

    • @ASMTechbase
      @ASMTechbase  6 років тому

      Right, you can model anything in Rhino or Max but it's not like ARCHICAD where you can easily add doors or windows. Your model is a bit of difficult one in regards to which Software to use. You don't see to many barrel shaped houses or buildings :)
      I do have an idea on how to do this in ARCHICAD, you will have to wait until Thursday. My next quick coffee tip will show how you can do this .
