After watching this game, Jimbo made the right move naming Conner Weigman the starter. His decision making, accuracy and composure in the pocket was elite. Plus, he throws a very catchable ball. Max is a solid, mature backup, but Weigman is clearly the right choice. D-Line will be elite, and tackling was excellent. The one weakness was the defensive backfield giving up too much space. Player of the game is between DeBerry and Weigman. Still, it was New Mexico...next week will be a real test.
