Gratuity is payable only when employee have completed 5 year of service in organisation. Hence for employees who have completed 5 year gratuity shall be booked as expense & for employees who have not completed 5 years a provision need to create.
@@FinTaxPro Sir , On what basis Gratuity is calculated,when a employee works for 5 yrs.His Basic must be increased in the 5 years gradually,so we have to calculate all the 5 yrs different gratuity % and then add them?
Please explained if we have more 1 state where our employee work than . Is it wages act are different if yes where we get state wise rate for state wise employee. Thanks
Yes dear, Bonus calculation & Prof Tax calculation will be calculated state wise. 1. Bonus will change due to minimum wage requirements 2. Prof Tax rate will change because it is state specific tax & every state have different provisions & slab rates for Prof Tax. Hope it helps Team Fintaxpro 🙂

Very Simple dear just add a formula of Roundup in the beginning, so that complete amount would be round off. But one point you must take care that always ROUND UP the amount because as per ESI Act amount must be round off to the NEXT nearest rupee. Hope it helps 🙂

Yes, Gratuity calculation is done on monthly basis & the accumulated balance is transfer to employee (or forfeited if employee left before time limit.

Employee contribution is 0.75 So the figure in ESI EMPLOYEE is 0.75 and company share is 3.25 so by applying the general math we reach on the figure
