Hey Guys. Great Video. That was our first job at our lot....was to put a fence around the property to keep the animals out, to stop eating the plants. Most of our plants died due to the lack of rain, but some will bounce back.
Yeah we had to wait until negotiations we're finished so we knew exactly where to put the fence unfortunately. And yeah the summer has been harsh on a lot of the plants and rice fields here also. But you are correct, they will bounce back I'm sure. Thanks for watching 🦘✌️

Hi. Maybe they have development plans for the area that’s why they need so much land for the road. If so, that would be good for you as it would increase the value of the land in surrounding areas. Just a hunch mate.
Yeah I said the same thing, but it's all private land and they will build a road one side and small houses the other side so they can sell and make a profit off the private land they took. Not good for us as we are out in the countryside for peace and privacy lol. That will disappear if the start putting houses up. Our land would have increased 3 fold if the original plan to have concrete road right on our boundary had gone ahead but that's life right. Thanks for watching brother 🦘✌️

Hi Tes & Brian, a couple questions if I may. So you're not allowed to pick the mangoes on camera if the plan is to sell them? are you allowed to work the fields if the plan is to sell any rice? How does the work thing work if you're on family owned land? Also do you plan on getting any goats? I would have liked to see close up how the boys joined the barbed wire to the bamboo, looked like they did alot of twisting?
Morning Scotty, apologies there wasn't more video on the fencing but we actually weren't there lol. We came back to the city and when we got back the next day they had finished it. I was actually surprised, I thought they would finish it on the second day. Not sure about goats but Tes's dad has had goats before so it's a maybe coz I have their experience to guide me. For me personally because I am only here on a tourist visa I am not allowed to work for money. I can of course work on our own land but as long as that's not doing anything that will earn an income. Tes on the other hand can do whatever she wants as she is a Filipina so there is no issue. After I get my pension from Aus I can apply for a 13a visa here and all those rules will be null and void. Oh we were in negotiations for months mate but they just wanted too much land. They ended up getting their 20 meters from 2 of my neighbours and that's why negotiations fell through. I wouldn't give up 10 meters. And yeah we'll just keep plugging away but I lost my chance to get building materials in the deal so now I'm stuck paying it all. That's life haha. @@paolo5008 basically I purchased it coz I was running out of time with the new baby coming haha. Not a big choice of used cars here on our island and not 1 used car dealer. I have the little multicab for sale so hoping to recover the money we spent so we are not out of pocket. Found it on fb marketplace, it belonged to an older guy who's had a stroke and can't drive anymore he was asking 380k originally but I negotiated him down to 250k. Pretty cheap. Paid 50k more for the multicab 10 months ago so they are worth similar money yeah 🦘✌️
Do u plan to build on agriculture lot or is it reclassified as residential?
This is the Philippines, you just submit your plan and get a building permit and you can build anywhere here lol. Most Philippinos don't even get building permits and a lot build on land they don't even own haha 😂. Some even build on the water here, I've seen whole communities spring up off shore lol. But we are certainly not in a residential area, we are currently 3 klms from the nearest sealed road. My wife's family own most of the surrounding land here in the mountain. Thanks for watching 🦘✌️
