Thank you to the channel, for condensing these shows down, and cutting out the majority of the drama and fluff. It's nice seeing the before and after, that's all I need. Haha
Adults need to be a bit more adult and sensible with their realistic expectations for their family. Lucky to get all this help.
This couple try to play down just what a mess their house was😂😂😂😂
The music is so annoying, sometimes I was struggling to hear what they were saying!
The money for the landscaping in the front yard was wasted. It doesn't fit the house or the neighborhood. And color decisions don't help the character of the house at all. Where are the designers who know how to work with what's there?
Um, 4000 dollars for that front yard is excessive, it did not need all that to make the curb appeal.
I know these kinds of shows just put the numbers in there for fun, but I'd be interested in seeing what the houses really sold for, and how much the reno would cost if you paid for the labor and design and everything else the show kicks in.
Also, $4,000 for plexiglass on a $14,000 budget just seems insane. There's no way he made his money back on that.
walls and wood partictions in the front of the house ,block the view to the house and in my mind takes away from the curb appeal. Why would you want to sit outside and stare at a wall. A porch is a different thing you can sit outside and watch the world pass by. Most of us do our outside living in the back yard.
I disagree. The layering adds mystery, depth + a lot of interest. Those are stalwart design principles.
I always consider the limitations the designer had to make work. Tiny budget is one of the hardest.
At first I heard $500.00 for the front yard.
I agree with others that $5000.00 was too much for that postage stamp size yard.
Where are you in the US? Im in IL. Watching you guys. Take care!!❤❤❤
The last guy...I wondered what his full story was of why he would move out of an amazing house to a smaller townhome with less fancy furnishings. I wonder if he planned to live in that house with someone else or start a family. Or perhaps was in over his head in money? I guess it's none of my business but feel bad for him since the house was way nicer.
At least from the intro, they make it sound like he bought it thinking he could live in it and to flip it while he was waiting on his new build. I've watched enough "first time flipper" type shows to believe he just had no idea what a bad decision that was.
Or maybe there was a sadder version and they just made up the story we heard for TV. At the beginning he said his new house was a year overdue, and at the end she said he spent a year and a half working on the old house. Could just be inattention to detail, or could be a giveaway that they changed some details.
Those last minute hefty payments that notary lady asked for, is called a shakedown imo. All the best with everything and hope she doesn’t come back sniffing for more money and more delays gggrrr
Hello Tyanna you look so cute I like the house it's nothing wrong with it, it is a nice small little house
Not just $20.000 ,that didn't include any labour, at least another $20,000 for a guess?
Bare minimum, I would think.
On second view: I just really dislike the stairs -- both runner color (horrible moth brown) + paint color of the dark brown (First reno).
And, again: Carson CRUSHED it on that front yard, w only $4K? Seriously?
Where do the home owners live while their old house is being rennovated?
For the house that they put 25,000 in the preview showed the horrible bathroom did anything happen to it ?or they’re selling it looking like it was you never addressed that at all
Yes, interesting.
They should've sell both of the house and buy a new one
weird, the painter should have known, pull the tape while the paint is wet. wow You never show if they sell for the asking price like other shows do. bye bye
Where does the money to pay the designers come from. They can't be working for free.
the homeowners
Wow! These comments are so nasty! Lol
Really ugly hose. Sorry. 750,000 is too much
Oh, GOODY! ANOTHER 'court yard', in the FRONT yard! How original'! NOT!
Why do these type of shows have to be so fake! Ugh
I HATE the realtor.
I know you have to stage this but this takes the cake....poor acting so maybe just get on with it.
