This is how to set up BetterTTV Emotes for twitch! I included the emote menu/list for all viewers as well as streamers. This is a great way to get free emotes for twitch even when you are not a twitch affiliate!

But they just changed it all and now apparently if you want the old chat emote box you cant use bttv otherwise its all smaller and jumbled together now.

Yeah I saw that too, you can't pin the emotes box now and can only use one emotes at a time. The fact that you need to press the smiley face for each emotes you want to use makes me miss the old box so much.

hey quick question.. how do people use animated emotes which are not the emotes of the channel they are currently in, nor global bttv emotes? The only way I see is using your own uploaded emotes but I don't think thats how they did it?

They might be using the twitch animated emotes but only some creators have access to that right now :)
