Very informative and thanks for sharing. I spend over 10 years compositing images and it is a great learning curve and in the end I became very good at it. Models, cloths and my favorite post apocalyptic sceneries etc. etc. . Great explanation Karl.
This gives me incentive to learn Photoshop more because you certainly can't do any of this in Lightroom and how cool would it be to create your own composites. I could have my brother taking a golf shot on top of the ocean with a water splash instead of a divot and a fish instead of a golf ball... or not. :)
