I'm a Greek living in the Uk and have visited more than 80 European stadiums,i feel sorry for your bad experience outside the stadium,Greeks are friendly and welcoming but when it comes with their football team are passionate and sometimes don't act properly, it's a discrace and hope that they will understand that is just a football game and nothing else,we love our teams aand we don't cross the line, support your team and respect your opponent

As an Olympiacos fan I would suggest against wearing any club top while on the streets of Greece because of people like those that you encountered. There is a very high chance that they might attempt to kll you if they’d seen you in an Olympiacos top. Great win though! I really enjoyed it!

I remember we played in Greece again back in the day against PAOK. The hospitality was much better and the atmosphere incredible. Pana fans were a dissapointment

i was at the game and the fans you encountered while with the police escort were the ultras of the team. As all the ultras ,or most of them, they are not the smartest. Most of the normal fans we are more civilized and we only go as far as singing the chants and see or oponents as enemys on the 90 minutes of the game.
