    Q&A:
    How difficult has it been to achieve academically?
    Describe hook-up, relationship culture in dorms. Creating privacy for romance, being kicked out of your room, etc.
    Maybe describe your transition from high school life to college life (difficulty adjusting/making friends)
    Also, I’m like a say it out-loud kinda study-er for exams; aside from my room, where could I do that lol (weird question haha)

      I did my Q&A video but I might do one more on social life, like hookups and things like that. I would study in your dorm's study lounges, the union, ross quiet study rooms, the ugli, hatcher

    Qualities/stereotypes of the different sororities?
    Is Greek life really intense at umich?
    Favorite part of freshman year?
    Best food places in and off campus?
    Where to get cute tailgate clothes?

    • @BellaJung
      @BellaJung  6 років тому +1

      I can't give stereotypes of sororities or I would get in trouble by the office of greek life! I'm sorry! Greek life is very present on campus, but I wouldn't say it is as intense as the south or in California. Lots of people are not involved in greek life, and sometimes I think I could have easily gone without it. I will try to post my favorite food places in and off campus soon. I will also have a whole video on tailgate attire!

    Hello! Can you please explain in detail how the housing process works? On the tour I took around campus the guide said that there is some kind of survey you did. Can you explain it more?

    can you do a video about the financial aid and any scholarships you received? I'm also an out of state student and I really wanna go to umich

    • @BellaJung
      @BellaJung  6 років тому +2

      I can't really talk on this point since I did not receive any financial aid from michigan sadly since it's really difficult to get money out of state. The only scholarships I received were through my high school and local community scholars programs.

      Sophia Tavakol I had a different experience. I’m attending UMich this fall and they covered a LARGE majority of my tuition, to the point that it was cheaper to go there than it would be for me to go to Purdue (and I live in Indiana, so that’d be in-state). It all depends on your parent(s) income and how much it’s needed. They give quite a bit to out-of-staters bc that helps increase their diversity! so don’t let it deter you from applying!!

    I’ll be attending umich in the fall!!! I’m from Florida so do you have any tips on packing for college when you’re flying there? How helpful are academic advisors? Clothing essentials? Best winter boots?

      I was a freshman at UMich this year and I lived in East Quad! I was not in the RC or any other learning community, but if you have any questions about it, I would be more than happy to help answer them :)

      Kerchhoff Zohr so my single was 8x12 or 8x14. It wasn’t the smallest, but it also wasn’t the largest. Usually people become friends with the people in their hall as opposed to the whole floor, but there were still some people who were friends with people from other halls or even floors. I wasn’t really close with any of the girls or guys in my hall, but I know that 5 of the girls around me were super close! I honestly just think it depends on who you are placed around :)

    • @madam2259
      @madam2259 6 років тому +1

      Kerchhoff Zohr if they’re keeping the layout the same, the rooms alternated boy, girl, boy, girl, and so on for each side of the hall. However, there should be a girl across from you if you’re a girl or a boy across from you if you’re a boy

    • @madam2259
      @madam2259 6 років тому +1

      Kerchhoff Zohr to be completely honest, they’re basically the exact same as the ones on the upper floors. If anything, it’s nicer to live in the basement because you don’t have anyone below you, you have easy access to the laundry room, and you can usually leave the building through a door on your hall rather than having to go to the main floor to leave. I had one friend who lived in the basement this year and she loved it! I think I would’ve rather lived there because they normally have larger study areas/lounges and being close to the laundry room would’ve been really nice haha

    Just got my housing back, and was placed in Barbour-Newberry. I’m really excited to be on central campus, but am worried about being in an all-girl’s dorm. Do you have any suggestions on how I can still be social? I’m also a Kessler Scholar and am in the Adelia Cheever program, but I don’t want to be limited to only a few people.

    • @BellaJung
      @BellaJung  6 років тому +1

      I’m sure you will meet tons of people in all your classes. Also, you probably will be spending very little time at your dorm so don’t let that worry you. South quad and west quad are more social.

      I also found out today that I was placed in Barbour-Newberry. I am super excited about the location also, but am concerned about the social aspects like you. Hopefully we will be able to meet plenty of people outside the dorm!

    Hey! so me and my roommate got placed in couzens, I think on a same sex floor in a co-ed hall. Im wondering if you're on a same sex hall does that mean boys can't come to your dorm room? not like for sleepovers, but like during the day to study or something?
