    I don't know much about db and eq, but are there any settings on the rc 505 that I should apply, like eq, the main compression, etc...because my mixes are coming out very loud, but I mix at low levels, and when I compare them to professionally mixed and mastered songs, they are so much lower that my mixes...and I'm having trouble where to set the mic/instr input in order to blend in with eachother and without clipping? Any advice would be great?

    Hey Arthur, I bought a RC505 and practicing with the functions and ways to generate different sounds with the parameters. But I'm a bit scared to pull to much on the faders and knobs. They seemed to be not so heavy duty for using them to much and to hard. At a pro DJ-Mixer this is not a problem. U can rock on it most the time without problems. But imao the RC505 and their faders and knobs feels very cheap and light. This is the only thing i am unhappy with. And I don't won't to crash them too fast. Am I right or not? Thanks for your answer.
    Why is this fuckin awesome tool not build a bit heavier and more stable? 😒

    • @arthurhenrymusic
      @arthurhenrymusic  4 роки тому +1

      Yeah I guess they wanted to be affordable and amazing at the same time but it is bad quality indeed. I've hear and seen some problems with the faders but I personally don't use them that much to be honest. Maybe because deep down I have the same feeling as you hahah

    • @fatze3978
      @fatze3978 4 роки тому

      @@arthurhenrymusic thanks for your honest answer 😂 deep down I hope that you will say the opposite thing. But it is like it is. I hope the rc 505 will last for a longer while. 😑 When I am watching the videos of other guys who are using it intense with all the possible options I thought, maybe they buy a new rc 505 from time to time. But this is not an option for me. I only want to use it at home and don't want to go to a beatbox battle or something like this. However. Thanks for your opinion. Have a nice weekend. 🤜

    Salut Arthur, j'epsère que tu parles français (comme tu es suisse, j'ai une petite chance ;))
    Tout d'abord merci pour tes vidéos qui m'apportent beaucoup.
    Ensuite j'aurais une précision à te demander par rapport à "l'electronic hi hat", as tu enregistré le premier "t" avec la track en "1shot"? Le seul moyen que j'ai trouvé pour me rapporcher de ce que tu fais est de record le son "t" avec "1shot" puis turn off 1shot et ensuite je peux jouer un peu avec le beat scatter mais je ne parviens pas à record un pattern sympa avec des 16th et 8th notes parce que le loop est trop court. quels son tes pre-set pour enregistrer le loop ?
    Ai-je été clair ?
    Merci pour tout et continue comme ça tu régales !

    • @arthurhenrymusic
      @arthurhenrymusic  Рік тому

      Hello, ça fait longtemps mais sauf erreur je ne parle ni de 1shot, ni de beat scatter. J'utilise juste une loop normale très courte OU Un slicer :-)

    It’s really useful and it helps me a lot to understand the functionality of the rc505. I love to use the panning or granular delay combined with the filter (LPF) for basslines.
