Ah yes Lob City. I was mesmerized by their gameplay. But it's was all flash but no substance. Still one of those memorable moments that made the Clippers relevant at that time.

I almost forgot how deep the bench was for the first year of Lob City. You got Billups and KMart in there.

However yeah Bledsoe - Mo Williams - Nick Young - Reggie Evans - KMart off the bench was at that time really good
Lob City era was an entertainment, fun to watch and exciting. But when they got into post-season, their team dropped quickly.
And even the Clippers today have Kawhi Leonard, Paul George and John Wall, they are only good in papers
Maybe the clippers franchise has a curse in them
They made it to the wcf without kawhi I think things are looking up
I'll admit, this Clippers team had 2 chances within this era to at least make a conference finals, however they couldn't keep their momentum strong enough. Griffin used to be the next star alongside Cp3.

Their main issue was depth. Injuries played a factor, but any good team must overcome injuries and play together as a team. The Clippers just never had enough and it showed.

Clippers were fortunate to land Chris Paul because of the veto trade to the Lakers. And more unfortunate that injuries and blown leads piled up on them that they couldn't go further in the playoffs.
P.S. - Multiple 3-1 leads.

Lob City had a great trio of Blake Griffin, DeAndre Jordan, and Chris Paul. Too bad they couldn't win a title. I think it has to do with losing in the playoffs, and most notable, the Clippers pull off the Leafs, blowing a 3-1 series lead.

Clippers finally made it to the Conference Finals in 2020-21 season.

At least the Clippers finally got past the second round and made the conference finals in 2021, even though they lost in 6 to the Suns

I think they are too patient for Doc Rivers let alone for his son which is really the Clippers cursed by Austin Rivers by the Reporter. Even though Doc Rivers is now on another team, the chances of winning the next season are very difficult, not to mention that the Golden Warrios with their young players will find it difficult to block a western team.

Sometimes is injuries of stars and some time is luck and shooting touch because the closest year of getting to WCF CP3 suffer the injury although he is still on court but his performance is definitely worse for example in game six against Houston finally hit a three in garbage time . But the real reason is they don't have stable three point shooting so if a team is shooting so well in threes they will probably loss if they felt tough to score or in a big scoring drought.
