One of most heaviest musical passages made by the mankind
Damn that album carried my teenage years. Blind is just to good.
In 10th grade I had nightfall in middle earth on repeat (the whole album) all day every day for over three years while playing Heroes of Might and Magic 3.

Better than the studio album version. The harmonics in the solo sound great.

@@cristopherdelacruz5829 Oh, but I agree with mr Chalice. The musical sound is greatly improved compared to the rather thin and bland studio version. Don't care if his voice has gone lower, still sound's great. And this is sung live. Guitars and song are usually studio recorded later and added over a "live" album though.
This is the best BG sound I think, right before Andre discovered the wha and started to overuse it.
Oh God yes, this version has the best harmonics and growly sound and it just sounds more full and powerful. I fucking LOVE this version so much! 20 some years later since I first heard it.

I don't say it's better than Valhalla, but people should seriously rethink claiming that Valhalla has the most epic chorus of all Blind Guardian songs
For sure, there are so many better ones, i'd say my favorite is from Lost in the Twilight Hall
I don't think so. It's fantastic but man there are at least a handful of better chorus's in BG songs.

I think that the second guittar entered a little late at the begining of the song. It was just for one or two seconds, but it makes a difference in the "feeling". Has anyone else noticed it too?
