This Mobile home makeover is super budget friendly, and I'm going to share with you how I achieved this beautiful, new, and modern looking kitchen with less than $150!!

HOW have I missed this channel??!! I love the kitchen makeover, and now I have to find more of your videos. My mobile home is a 1981, so yours is newer than mine! I had to laugh when I saw the dishwasher cubbie, because I have the same thing! The dishwasher was long gone when I bought my home in 2011, and the previous owner had put shelves in there. I made a curtain to match the one I made for the window above the sink to cover it, so its worked out good. I also painted my counters about 4 years ago, but did the granite look. It turned out really good, and is still holding up amazingly well. The formica was the butcher block stuff, and it was in good shape, but I hated it. My neighbor across the street had the same thing so we painted hers too! Its been one of my favorite projects. Also, Id like to say thank you to the person who told you about that weight on the faucet!! Thats good information to have, because they all seem to do the same thng! I have a new one still in the box, waiting to be installed, but I need to get a new sink first. The projects are never ending it seems!! I really wanted to paint my stove hood too, but I didn't know if it would work or not......I ended up buying some contact type paper that is made for appliances, and covered it. It was so ugly looking, and I couldn't afford a new one. Anyway, so happy to have found your channel, and I have subscribed. Looking forward to watching more of your videos!! ❤❤

Oh goodness hun. My neighbor painted her stove vent with latex paint too. She later spayed cleaner on it and it pealed and bubbled. Spray paint worked much better.looks great

Just joined. Kitchen paint made a huge difference. I agree about walmart's paint. I used exterior for porch ceiling. It did not hold up!! Went back and watched your Fall photo shoot. You have beautiful kids. I wish I had done that when my kids were small. Instead of waiting for a professional photographer, coordinating outfits(pinterest). YOU captured the important moments. Pictures are beautiful!!!! Great job!! You area GREAT Mom because you can see it in your kids' eyes. God bless you and your children.

Hey quick question I just wondered. What do you think if we painted our appliances? We got a dark new fridge but our stove and dishwasher is white. Instead of replacement could we just paint them black?
Yes!!! I was thinking of doing that to mine. If you look online they actually have paint especially made for painting appliances! Or you could honestly just use regular paint and add a clear top coat. Thanks for watching Tracie!!❤️😊❤️😊
It’s insane with what we can do with just a can of paint and some plastic!
I actually have had good luck with this Walmart paint, but it does depend on what you’re painting. I’ve only painted furniture and walls, mainly. However, I did use the color Birchwood, in the Walmart paint, for the cabinets in our camper. It worked out great!

Hi Kelly!! And it's so interesting because I painted my coffee bar and my living room with the same paint, and it did pretty well. But the kitchen just wasn't working as well for me. It looks really nice but did you paint over the hinges? Just curious. I think that you're supposed to prime the countertops and sand them before painting? How many coats of primer on the cabinets ? And how many coats of paint?
Hey there!! Yes I sanded before painting. My paint had primer so I skipped that step. It did 4 coats in total. For the cabinets and counter tops. And I did paint over the hinges.
I saw a glimpse of Spider Man but he didn’t seem to want to give you any help. 😏😉 It looks great! I’m sure it makes you feel differently about being in the space. Like you’re more settled and content when you are cooking or cleaning.

Aren’t you supposed to use primer before you paint on wood? To help it adhere, prevent peeling and colour bleeding through?
I didn't because the paint had primer in it already, and still, it's looking really good, so it definitely worked out for me. Thank you so much for watching ☺️ ❤️

I'm not sure if better paint makes that much of a difference. My husband and I are currently redoing a trailer, that we intend to rent, and I decided to paint the cabinets white also. I got the mid priced paint at Lowes and it took 4 coats on each side of the doors before I was happy with the results. I found it easier to take the doors off to paint. I'm enjoying watching your videos and seeing different ideas.
