  • Hey Everyone! I FINALLY installed the LTE router in my truck and purchased the $65 a month unlimited data plan from NetBuddy. This is vastly different from the "unlimited" plans for cell phones...those plans always have a cap on hotspot data. I couldn't be more pleased with the performance! I was initially skeptical but after firing this up yesterday I can truly say this performs as advertised. Here are the links...

    Recommended LTE Routers...

Interesting little device. I am going to have to look into it. Thanks. You're probably getting ready to finish up with the flower season there at Crested Butte. Are you going down to Camp Verde? I heard you mention Arizona. Good show today Shawn. Take care. Vaughn

I have the same one in my house. I use it to run the iPad and the fire stick for the TV. Been using it for a couple years. Well worth it

    ~ Greetings
~ I've been watching and following this channel for a while now and have not placed a comment until now.
~ I want to take this opportunity to say THANKS for supplying the motivation needed to further my rig set up with what suits me best. (in a ♿) so my setup and rig need to be different from most.
~ I also want to mention, that of all the 4x4 and Overlanding channels, which have all these fancy setups (nothing wrong with it mind you) but some of us don't have the financial capabilities to afford such luxuries. ~ and sometimes (without anyone saying it) we're looked down on because of it because we're not in the same tier level as them.
~ what I ♥ about this channel is the overall information on this channel.
~ it's specifically what I have been looking for, as it's minimal, it's actually useful, reasonably affordable and not condescending when explained.
~ I'm about 55% done on my rig and these small hints/tips and tricks are worth a million times more than their weight in gold.
~ Keep doing the amazing job on this channel and on the videos.
    ~ THANK YOU! 👍💪

Ugh...netbuddy website says they are not currently taking on new customers!

Dang, hopefully Netbuddy will accept new customers in the near future. I've been very pleased with this service. Another provider some friends use is called Unlimitedville. It's more expensive but works very well and the data is truly unlimited. They offer unlimited service on both AT&T and Verizon. Have a great evening, Randy.

When you signed up, how long did it take for them to activate service?
I just signed up and now I'm waiting, but after reading reviews online, I'm scared I may have been scammed.

Hi Kirk, it took about 3 hours before the service was turned on. I noticed that I started to get a signal reading on my router and that is when I realized the SIM card was activated. I have two other friends who use this service, one had about an hour wait until his was activated and the other buddy waited roughly 24 hours before his service was turned on. I had the same feelings that you are having after I signed up but after the signal started coming in I knew everything was legit.

Sitting in my topper with the impending snowstorm barreling down on my camp and I could not be happier to have this service. Getting ready to stream the Dave Chappelle comedy special and make some hot chocolate. Really struggling out here! 🤘
