@@aranciata1723 yeah, i'm only been playing bass about 3 months as well. it's hard for me but by taking it slow i managed to speed the song up from .25 to .50 in less than a week.
Man, it sucks seeing the replies hahaha. Everyone learns differently. I’m especially slow. I’ve been playing for 3 years and I’m nowhere near where I want to be. Don’t worry about learning anything quick. Just enjoy your time with the instrument and you’ll improve.

Hey man! So I started bass 1 year and 6 months ago and It took me about two weeks to play this song. I still make some errors now and then. And I must say it's impressive that you have already picked up tge first 40 seconds because when I started playing I was absolute shite. So hats off to you!

It's actually not that hard. There are easier variations and I was able to learn it like a few months after picking up bass.
