  • Northbrook Creek runs from the Rainforest on the top of Mount Glorious in D'Aguilar National Park down to the lowlands through farmland and open wooded forest in Dundas and then into Lake Wivenhoe a man made lake that follows through to the Brisbane River in South East Queensland.
In this video you will see a small part of it showing the migration of some of the fish swimming upstream in the wet season, most parts of this creek are dry for a large part of the year, flowing underground only having a few small pockets of permanent water, most of the fish get trapped and die off, but when the rains come they swim back upstream to repopulate and the process stars over.
