I believe this motor was built for a '95 Full Size Bronco. Is this the CHP Pro-Street Reverse Dome -28.9cc or -22cc 427 stroker (stock block, not Dart or other aftermarket 351w based block)? What cc are the heads to get 9.5 compression? AFR 195s come in 58 or 72cc. Your compression calculator says 10:1 compression with -28.9 and 58cc. With -22 and 72cc it is more like 9.2 compression. ?? Anyways, this is the short block and combo I'm looking at when it comes to replacing my tired 351W in my Bronco.

What are the cam specs? If you can't give exact, rough idea is fine.

Using same AFR heads for my 427 big bore street Windsor build. AFR 195's can support close to 640 horsepower, using the formula: (0.25714 multiplied by CFM flow, multiplied by the number of cylinders). Not sure which intake is used on this motor. On my vehicle, using an electric water pump and manual steering to keep parasitic loses to a minimum. At the top, am using a K&N round filter with filter top plate on a cowl induction hood with plenty of space and cold air for the intake for minimal air intake restriction. If not too much trouble, let us know what intake was used and the cam specifications on this build. If you prefer to keep the cam specs under wraps, I understand but curious about the intake used, single vs dual plane. Guessing it is the single plane Edelbrock Victor Jr with the 580 peak horsepower number. Nice 427 Windsor build! Strong work CHP!

I think a 205 or 220 would be better choice head runner size for a 427.

Those numbers aren't realistic, your not even spinning the water pump. Put all the accessory's on it and a real air cleaner then let's see what it does.

Most engine dyno's use an electric water pump and a volute to get more consistent back to back results and maximum engine potential, as for realistic "real world numbers" thats why whe have the chassis dyno where we read numbers to the ground factoring in everything that will affect flywheel numbers in "ideal" conditions. Then we can quantify how much power we loose from drive train, accessories, undehood heat soak, full exhaust systems, ect.

thats called gross hp...thats what everyone does. if you want '''''''''''''''real'''''''''''' number deduct approx 10-12% to get net hp

I’m researching for my build 347, plan on buying my rotating assembly from CHP.
      I see those same 190 heads on the 427 AND a 347!
I’m lost on what size runner volume even more now
