Brilliant, my van failed an mot on brake lights after changing the lamps. I learned later its probably this switch, mine is a different style but it should be the principle to repair it. Thanks
I had another failure of the tail/brake lights and traced it back to a wire that had broken, maybe worth watching that video too. It is in my playlist.
Great help, thanks!
Quick tip, you can use a 10A fuse to bridge the gap instead of a wire. Fits nicely so you don't need a friend to help you test!
Detailed camera shots and helpful commentary all the way, wish all repair videos were this good 👍
Hahaha. Another of you tunes that I need. Thanks man. Great videedo

@@bootsowen thanks for the heads up. I've just fixed it! Only took 10 minutes to dismantle the switch and clean the contacts. Thanks again.
The depth of the stick is easily adjustable, if I remember correctly. Just drag it out a little. No need to take the switch apart.
Ohh man, what a mess underneath. :D
Got me out of a fix today thanks 👍
Great help. Thank you.
thanks lad this vid helped me out big time today
No worries buddy, it's an odd failure, but if it happened once I'd say it comes up all the time!
