Tanks? I use cavalry
"Chrome is a lot more valuable than tungsten in hoi."
The bob semple tank is the best and that is the undeniable truth
Great war tank is teh best
What tanks? -Chiang Kai-Shek
All I hear is use 40 width super heavy tank divisions
I love how you just ignored my favourite, amphibious. 😢
Forgot the great war tank my guy
I just realised Luchs is AA here.I never realised since in Men of War,they are great for fighting infantry and flanking AT guns
I find that heavy tanks are only good in MP since AI isn't good with tanks. Light tanks are only useful in motorized divisions due to their speed after medium tanks are researched; they simply are too bad in combat compared to medium tanks.
If your country is poor and has tons of chromium (e.g. Turkey), it might be a good idea to build heavy tank + cavalry divisions
I use 20 width divisions with 4 heavy/superheavies and rest(6) mountaineers.
in few words:
light: quick
Regarding the production cost per tank: the heavier the tank, the less tanks are required to fill a regiment, softening the difference in cost. As far as I am concerned, light tank regiments need 100 tanks, medium about 40 (can't confirm that one) and super heavy tanks only 15 (still expensive tho).
Just subbed thanks I got new tips for my games I always wanted to know like the full roll of the tanks. No one made a video that explains it this well thanks.
been having a blast with motorized-light spa divisions.
When you said that one can expect to make 6-8 heavy tank divisions I just remember the game where I focused hard on heavy tanks and I managed to get 72 forty width divisions that were a mix of heavy SPGs, heavy tanks (later converted to superheavies), and mechanized needless to say I had very few casualties. It was glorious
My understanding was that penetration and armor is an average, so 18 width infantry with one support anti tank will have way less pen than three infantry and three mainline anti tank. Agree that light start to suffer but I don't think it's as simple as good anti tank tech making them worthless. I like to faze out my lights by chewing up the surplus and replacing with mediums in template as necassary, allows for good armor and economy, just do it a few divisions at a time for speed
I use LT destroyers with motorized infantry and anti-tank for emergency tank breaches in the front line and destroying other tanks as well, it works pretty well for me
