Please keep doing these. I was literally JUST complaining on the subreddit that there's almost no good informational videos for this game and it's mechanics. Cryozen's equipment guides and Yamanoki's skill training can only take us so far.
As someone who picked up the game just this Tuesday after leaving it alone for near on ten years now, just knowing to go do Blaanid quests was a huge aid in starting me out, so I'm really glad you pointed it out in this video for other people. I basically have no idea how any of the mechanics work anymore, and I'm sure I could do a wiki trawl, but watching these while I take my time clearing book 4 for the Brave Boost stuff or getting knee deep into commerce will probably be pretty relaxing. I played this game for 8 years then stopped around 2015 was curious about getting back into it again. Checked this to see how much it's changed. Some stuff looks the same but looks so different. This was very informative.
@@The_RealH3R0 started in G2 and left when the Knights were released and now there's so much more f2p than I remember. The bane of having to buy rebirth vs when I left and now. So much easier
This is actually really good info for new players. Most of the time when people give advice it focuses on things like equipment and enchants/reforges, etc. Focusing on the more complicated stuff early on is extremely overwhelming when there's already so much being thrown at you. Amazing job!!❤❤
Found this game on steam and i downloaded it..man i thought i was the only one in the dark for the games tutorial. Thanks for this post! It's pretty informational.

Looking forward to more of these! As a returning player some of the newer content is just confusing like baltane knight/ scouts. I have no clue why i should bother leveling them. I cant even find a guide that explains why theyre useful
Every 2 command levels grants you +1 permanent of every stat. Higher level squires perform better in Baltane missions they participate in. Max level squires can give you specific medals, which are a crafting material for Divine weapons. That's the brief of it. I'd refer to the wiki for actually training them. It's entirely optional content.
At last! I'm a new player w/o any knowledge about the game. I've been looking for an updated video for beginners and there's just NOTHING! Looking forward on the next videos! Anyone wants to adopt me and carry me in their guild? 😅
Honestly...the most confusing part about starting Mabinogi isn't any of this. It's the terrible quest tracker that I was RELYING on...that doesn't show you where to go. It tells me that the npc is in a whole other city but they are just inside their instanced house. oof. Good job Devcat.
@@The_RealH3R0 Yeah it's terrible lol. Imagine if I had ran all the way to the southern part of the map lol?? I googled npcs location instead. I think I am still doing tutorial missions so this is insane. I started as an elf if that matters.

They made the early to mid game very easy and less grindy in some ways which encouraged me to come back!
