I subscribed to you while watching the Karen Read trial! Thought I would come get your history! Glad I found you! I was hit by a drunk driver going 87 in a 25... I have had 38 surgeries and the asshole had a record a mile long and had no insurance. It has been a very long road of recovery for many many years! Scalped, rebuilt facial, 9 ribs, new knee, new hip, rod in femur, bone transplant tibia etc., etc.,... my best friend passed away and here I am paying all my own bills because he was a loser. I wish I had gone to law school......
Regarding lawsuit about pictures taken at Koby Bryant's crash site, I do not think first responders did anything wrong. Sharing and viewing those pics helps first responders deal with the trauma they witness so many times. I was the second car to arrive at a horrific head-on crash on a two lane road. Those who arrived before me said one driver was dead and "Don't look at him. " I stayed with the other driver who was alive and laying across passenger seat with a mouth full of blood. I talked to keep her calm and still until Paramedics arrived. I worried about her breathing being inhibited by the blood in her mouth. If she stopped breathing and I turned her head to clear her airway, would I cause crippling injury? She survived. I wish I HAD looked at the other deceased, maybe decapitated, driver. I was bothered for YEARS after wondering what he looked like. Sharing pics and experiences after Trauma is a way to cope. I hope there is no guilt found in this case. You are brilliant!
I’m at that stage with my lawsuit for a dog mauling accident. Lawsuit was filed in district court in April of 2022 and literally only heard from my attorney maybe 4 times. Last time I heard from him was 2/2023
Is it hard to file against a dr? And prove negligence due to lack of informing the patient and improper follow up? I feel like I have a case but it’s not as straight forward as I think most are
Hey Peter. Thank you for sharing this valuable info. Unfortunately, I've been through the pain & stress several times, because of other people's stupid decisions. First one was way back in 86. My Son, "6" at the time... Was walking back from the Icecream truck, that was parked in front of my home. A truck coming didn't slow down, passed the IC truck & hit my Son. Threw him 27 feet. Was in hospital for 3 weeks, was in a body cast for 9 weeks. It was a living nightmare what we had to go through. Broken femur & other injuries. We got a chunk of $$ for it, but my Son still suffers off & on with his leg. Settled out of court. I couldn't handle anymore pain & stress.
Personal injury law (in my eyes) has always seemed like easy money. I could be wrong or it could just be because when I lived in Ca. I had 3 PI cases from being hit in a MVA when it wasn’t my fault and got paid on all of them.
Funny rant-- That's 1 thing I noticed about lawyers, they wear their hair how they want! I've seen lawyers with hairstyles like Albert Einstein. Hair all over the place. U wud think they'd want to look super conservative/sharp, right? Hell naw! They make so much money they don't even bother fitting the mold. Its like they're sticking it to the judge or society. Lol. I like ur hair tho.. 👍👍👍

How can you make sure your lawyer is doing what he is suppose to do and what he says he will do?
Constant communication. And you can request copies of all the documents he sends and receives in your case.
