3.5mm to RCA Cable, Mixer is all the same, use audacity to make sure your levels are good as a test, also if you talking about how to connect both decks via ethernet use a ethernet switch or a rouder to connect 2 or 4 decks to Rekordbox via etherned or also you can try HID way using usb. thats how been using mines these days with Beatportlink
i dont want it to play soon as i load it i want to load a track and then when im ready to play the song i can press the play button,but it automatically plays soon as i load it
Hey quick question I just got my XDJ'S yesterday and I can't figure out a way to disable tracks from auto playing. I'm not sure why it auto plays when I skip a track. In the Menu > Utilities > I have Play Mode as "Single". Do you have any input on this? Thanks!
silentfxx hey man on the screen you should see next to the track number the litle sqare button that saids Time & A cue Hold it for a sec and should set auto cue hope this is what you was refereeing to and hope i answer your question
Hey Bro! Thanks for the rapid response I didn't use the method you told me. I found out another method which was with rekordbox in the settings for CDJ you have to have Play Mode as Single and Auto Cue turned on. Would you happen to know how to turn on/off "Needle Lock" Thanks again!
i have two cdj 2000 nexus and djm 900 nexus, i have ethernet cable coming from both decks and mixer into ethernet hub, and ethernet from hub to thunderbolt and plugged into MacBook...nothing working, please tell me how to set up
+Daniel OConnell you do the same as he do. plug a ethernet cable in the rx and connect the ortjer side of the cale in the ethernet port of your mac or windows. when recordbox will show you the link image. After that you have to click on it and recordbox will show you the both decks of the rx
so for both XDJs to be seen in my laptop i need a switch, right? i then have my laptop as a bigger track browser for my set, any other advantages? could i use the xdjs and the laptop in any other better (dvs like) way if i would upgrade rekordbox to the dj version ?
Well now rekordbox can be use like traktor or scratch as well via usb but to use it with a switch or a router you need to use the Ethernet wire and only can be use to browse and load the tracks to the xdjs by dragging the track to the selected deck

+DJ Crank check your firewall if the firewall is down link wont show, the minute you plug the ethernet from the cdj to your pc ethernet the link appears

+JCSupercars with mac not sure since I use Windows, I use a switch for this video and work perfectly
are you connecting ethernet hub to lan port or thunderbolt port using any converter ???? try connecting your ethernet hub directly to lan port
