A little crazy comparing an F-350 to a tundra. Not even in the same realm, not in the same universe. You shouldn't even be comparing an F-250 to a tundra, much less an F-350. Please do research and learn this engine and truck are pure garbage.
I bought a 6.2L Platinum F150 w/200K (yes some half tons got very lucky!). I put 20K already on it, it is flawless, just 4 oil changes. The tech that state inspected it at Ford said the 7.3 isn't a step up in quality from the 6.2L. He does plenty of engine work on 7.3, rarely sees 6.2L outside of maintenance. Actually showed me chewed up rollers that look like they have 1mm miles on them. He said mine is barely broken in. They said they dealership sold higher mileage 6.2Ls and they never had issues. THey see them back for oil changes.
Oh look, a fear mongering old man spreading decimal place statistics as commonplace- how unsurprising. I work in fleet and have visibility to over 60% of government vehicles across the country, as well as major transits and oil companies. I can see tens of thousands of PM (preventative maintenance) for 7.3 super duty equipped vehicles and there's no widespread issue here- there's minimal TSBs and no serious recalls at present. Organizations are gobbling them up to replace diesel for many applications. These things are all the way up in the arctic circle running 24x7 and only turned off for service in a heated garage. There's actual data that people use now rather than dramatized, whisper down the lane complaints or the occasional forum post. The 7.3 is probably the best HD gas engine available right now.

This post has to be satire
