Now that they're going through a difficult patch, I can tell my mum isn't as keen on going everytime I suggest a visit, and I just get jealous of those that go now... Next time you head east for plants and flowers I suggest stopping off at the Flower Warehouse on Cambridge Heath Road and Conservatory Archives in Hackney Road. The Flower Warehouse has tons of plants and the occasional decent pot at excellent prices and the archives is an incredibly hip little (one in, one out) shop with cacti and succulents - the owner is clearly very passionate and knows her stuff.
