In short, this song is dedicated to one of the Emperors in China's Histrory about 600 years ago. Though he had worked hard and tired to be a good leader, he failed due to many other reasons which he could not control.
This was released in 2021 and is one of the very best in Zhou Shen's long list of songs. In fact, it is being voted as the best song of the past one year in China. In the first round of voting, 光亮 top the chart with more than 3.91 million votes, much higher than the second which garnered around 1.48million votes.
In Second round of voting which has just started with 光亮 at 200 thousand votes (still at top). All awaiting for good news when the result is released.
In 2021, Zhuo Shen scoped three awards in the same GALLERIA contest.
1. Most popular Male Singer.
2. Top 10 song 和光同尘. and
3. The best on-line Live Concert.

Fun fact: Zhou Shen recently had a solo online concert in Chinese tiktok on Aug 6th, 2022. 140 million people attended. It was an 2 hours concert. Big success! International fans was not able to access the concert... Those Chinese accounts are so lucky!
