I commented elsewhere on this or another thread somewhere.... I’ve said many times, ‘I’ve lived this song’.... well is the antithesis of all that & those feelings. I heard it, & instantly John Lennon popped in my head, both the looks & the sound channeled John. He would have applauded this piece. Beautiful, yet very haunting & dark.... MORGAN IF YOU READ THESE, I have certainly LIVED THIS SONG & it’s a beautiful, eerie, heartfelt rendition of ones journey when all’s not right with the world, but YOU FORCE IT TO BE !! " I had access to this studio, and I was, like, I wanna do something. So I called Clint, and he said, 'I'm gonna send you some guitar riffs, and [you] play drums and sing on it, and see what happens.' So I ended up doing a solo record, like it was a joke. I was just, like, 'I'll just go in and record a little bit. I'm not a singer; I'm a screamer.' So I ended up doing this solo record, and Rise picked it up. And I was, like, 'Oh my God. I have a record deal as a solo artist now all of a sudden.' It was a trip."
If you've heard the Sevendust song "Burn", I believe the beautiful lead vocals on that whole ending are Morgan. And then John comes in and harmonizes with him, and LJ adds an embellishing counter-melody at the very end.

Wow... I drove Call Me No One around Portsmouth Ohio in my very own car. As silly as it might seem at my age I enjoyed it, knowing I had 2 members of Sevendust in my car is a great memory. Sadly that car got destroyed this year when a semi-truck backed into it pushed me 50 feet crushing my car. I was not hurt at all as it was all in slow motion. I do have the Toyota emblem from my car as a reminder that I had CMNO, Misfits, Warrant, Great White and some country singers in my car and I drove them wherever and I was their runner for the day. I hardly made anything doing that, it was like my mid-life crisis summer. In my late 40's driving bands around, running security, filling Ice, I never cared I just enjoyed being there. RTFO here with this MR, you alien freak this is beautiful bro.

Morgan is the man!!! It’s amazing how many projects he has been a part of and how many drummers have modeled their style after his !!! Not to mention how personable he is. Met him several times a sevendust shows and he and the rest of the band are the nicest dudes ever. This is an awesome song. Shows how versatile a guy like Morgan is. Love all the new material🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘

Hauntingly beautiful vocals were a perfect fit for the music. From one of THE best drummers in metal and one of the most underrated bands in metal. First saw them 1997 in Gilroy at a club call The Gaslighter doing a mini tour with Snot and Hed Pe switching the headliner from show to show. I got to meet and hang out with both Lynn from Snot and Lajon from Sevendust. I already had Snot's debut Get Some, the day after this show, I bought Sevendust's debut. I've been a fan ever since.
And that's the message. That's the faith. Just that simple.
I like, glad he has stepped out of his comfort zone and opened a new door in his life.show us his artistic talents that we all knew he had. I'm glad that they can all still be one blessed band and still step out and do their own thing during the bands down time. Goes to show just how much talent is bottled up in them. Everyone be safe and be blessed.

Just the opposite. He found life. Even though all the awful in the world beats him down, like in the video, he still smiles, gets up, and walks on. Fearless. And the difference in him changes the boy, who joins him...and it amazes everyone who sees them. He says it in the song: "Holy angel, forgive what I've become, they've killed the man who was here". Now, he's something new, something different. Now, he can finally breathe.

It shows what he can bring to the table as a songwriter. 7d while they can write some killer shit are melodically also one of the best bands out there and morgan is a huge part of that

Rise has a lot of close-minded elitists subscribed to them so it's most likely them. A lot of dislikes on the new Sevendust songs as well for 'not being heavy enough'. These guys are too good for this label and their garbage, negative elitist fanboys, I wish they'd leave Rise altogether. They were so much better when they were indie anyway.

The EP is not at all what I expected from Morgan but it is full of some great moody atmospheric songs. I can hear that Morgan has a much bigger input into 7D than just as a drummer! Exhale though is absolutely haunting and fantastic!!! This should be a huge song!!!

Not what I expected, but really like it.
I can understand if this isn’t your cup of tea, (7D fans) but this is really good music. Im blown away what the final product sounds like. Rose is obviously super talented and has a lot to offer as a singer/songwriter.
To me it is one of the most amazing things. You grow up with a favorite artist that you feel you have come to know so much about only for them to flip you on your head and show you something completely unexpected....and you still like it. This is a very unassuming track from the mad man we have all come to know, even if the video allows him to "breathe" just a bit.
